The footsteps are louder because the player is wearing a headset that enhances audio, for anyone wondering
That's not the problem, it sounds like they've just got boots and slammed them against surfaces you can hear the hollowness of the boot

@@JakeRaymond7 Ear protection in real life sounds similar to this to me, quiet noises are a lot more pronounced, you can hear things like the fabric of your pants shifting in detail even if it's subtle.
You lot should be thankful for such a clear sound in this game. Its gonna make fights fair. Ask any old tarkover how sounds work in that game.

PSA: If you haven’t worn active headsets, you don’t know what sounds accurate to IRL.
For real, even my cheap headset makes footsteps from 50 feet away sound right behind you.

For everyone wondering, Headsets make footsteps louder. if you hear your footstep very loud, it's not that much loud from the enemies POV. It's just loud in your POV to really make you know what movement state you're in.
So many PC and Tarkov crybabies in the comment section when they saw a competitor

?? Tarkov players (me included) are happy, finally a game can fight with tarkov, those who are crying are not tarkov players really. And the footsteps sounds like that because the character is wearing Headsets, in tarkov is similar, and even worst because the sound is one of the most broken things on that game

For people that thinking the sound is too loud, he using a headset, im talking about the in game headset, not headset that you wear when playing.
This game have different kind of headset, that who cancel noises (In mobile is kinda useless because only cancel ambiences sound) and there the one who enchance the sound.
Looks very interesting, but footsteps sound is loud and need more soundbanks for a different grounds

So it looks like there are several new things that are only available at ABI, for example the silver ring item that is not in AB and the room that was reworked

The detail level in this game is really nice, plus they really improved on the menu, stash, etc. compared to tarkov.

So you can hear players footsteps. It's a game mechanic.
They need to change some things like the sounds when looting and maybe the walking sounds too overall looks interesting.
Sometimes it really feels like these guys had access to Tarkov's source code and assets the way the game is so similar

Graphics are ok, but they have to work on the audio. Everything sounds really compressed
The player are using a combat headset, it mostly blocks high decibel sounds like gunfire and enhances ambient sounds, hence the compressed audio all around

You can only friendly fire if you throw grenades at them, if successfully friendly fire: game prevents you from throwing grenades again.
