Amazing how Tarkov established themselves as the de-facto looter shooter so much so that this game introduces nothing significant but people are excited about it. Literally all BSG had to do was not shit the bed to stay on top
People will still return to tarkov if these games won't improve. Bsg just hilariously chose the worst time to make this mess - it's the end of the wipe when everyone is trying new games while waiting for the next wipe. But now it also looks like everyone is leaving and "making a statement". It's incredible how Nikita can be this stupid.

I can't count the number of times I died in EFT when I started purely because I couldn't find the extract. I actually love that they have an in game map and the hot locations and exfils are marked. QoL doesn't mean unrealistic.
im trying to start on eft bcz i had it from the 2022 but never played because it was too difficult and i couldnt understand anything, now im trying it in the past few days, and everytime i couldnt extract because i cant fucking find the extract site even with the maps lmfao
So at 7:38 fair reloaded his Over Under, then at 8:35 he did so again, but he ejected unused shells. So note to self, and anyone else who reads this, you can waste ammo on reload.
its like that on AB mobile too, it happens on the sks and mosin when you reload, since when you open the bolt or whatever, one ammo would pop out so you have to pick it back up from the ground
You can solve my switching to your knife or secondary and reloaded from the bag
@@coopkeks458 in GZW doing a mosin reload you push that round from the bolt down in to the mag, SKS reload still launches it off and away tho :(

I put tons of time into the mobile version and was always blown away that a Tarkov-like was playable on a device the size of my hand. I'm old, I remember being blown away by the Game Boy, now we have this. It doesn't look bad at all on PC, I just hope the devs don't get greedy since it's a Tencent game... so honestly, it's not a matter of if, but when the microtransactions and battle passes are coming...
If the microtransactions will be similar to the mobile then everything is grindable except for extra storage slots... Unless you're a fan of changing skins tho
@@mr.lifeline5839weapon skins and cosmetics don't bother me unless it is not in line with what the theme/setting of the game portrays.... A scratched old looking gun wrapped in some dirty cloth is fine..... But an ultra colorful, kawaii looking, or a literal dragon is used as a gun with some seizure inducing effects, now that's a mood killer....

I like how in 20:50 Fair says "Scavenger" going above and beyond to distance himself from BSG and EFT by not saying "Scav". How bad can you piss off your players that they won't even use the terms associated with your game anymore, terms the players themselves came up with and introduced before becoming official. Damn Nikita you really shit the bed with that one.
In arena breakout terms, the contacts call scavengers as "militants" in missions and militant players are "impostors" and there's no karma so impostors are cruel, I played the mobile version and everyone calls them that in there, I'll give it 1 year until the entire pc base calls them that too.

To be honest, escape from Tarkov just looks so overwhelming so i’ve never tried it. This game on the other hand looks simplified enough that i would love to try it. Performance looks good too.

And breakout does look a lot funner and simpler than eft..

@@Donni_10Like how in tarkov you can't move and pack mags, which is stupid. This game lets you move, it just occupies your hands while you do so, which makes way more sense. I can walk around loading a mag with two hands; I don't need to be crouched in a corner to do it.

I have played this game on Mobile for almost a year! It has been one of the funnest gaming experiences ever, even coming from someone who has enjoyed both PC and console. Seeing it patch to PC is one of the most exciting things in gaming for a long time for me, it looks freaking awesome!!
There are actually two cases in valley if the pc and mobile are the same. As you know there is one inside the beach resort or something and the other one is on the balcony.

For the new ones to the arena bakeout i have to tel u guys something. Arena Brakeout it was first launched on mobile and it blew up. the auto sort sistem it was there since day one. also u can check the price of an item in raid so you can sort your loot and know what is worth taking out. This game runs smoth on mobile and it was my favourite extraction shoter bc i dont have a PC :)

Edit - Just so you know in case you don't already, the red circled areas in the map is where you're most likely going to encounter real players..
Edit 2: For convert mode, the AIs won't shoot you unless you shoot them first but the boss can see through your disguise & attack you, also real players too can also attack you...
Hard to see you not taking those weapon accessories, they're useful and they worth a lot. At least on the mobile version that i know of, especially suppressors

16:34 I like how earlier you said that scopes don't make your game lag yet here you lose 40% of your frames when aiming.
To be fair. In Tarkov you would often times stutter and freeze when you aimed. Losing a chunk of frames I would still take over the game freezing at a crucial moment.

Just got a chance to try the PC version and dang, not bad so far, controls and UI feel weird but will just take getting used to. Not sure if it was picking up my mic though. Really hope Tencent doesn't screw this up.

@@candyman9635 yup if we want a Western dev, they need to be better. I tried Incursion Red River but it's 100% just an unreal marketplace asset flip and the map is tiny and thrown together in the Unreal map editor. But if you point this out the community is toxic as fuck

Careful about reloading double barrel shotgun, the unused ammo will be discarded, not that i know if it work same way in PC but in mobile it does.

I would like to mention to fair and anyone else coming to this game its been around for a long while on mobile and if i recall right some of the ppl who worked on this worked on lost light (another extraction shooter that fell off trying to monetize and didnt address cheater)

The AI in Tarkov can easily one-tap you while smoking a cigarette. This game looks a little relaxed
You missed the other safe and the ak on the dead player on the ground
You can buy all item from market without grinding level
Looks really nice so far. Thought the game is gonna live or die with its p2w mechanics. The group mechanics (no friendly fire, revive, group markers, save loot after death) could also make it become really solo/random unfriendly. Might end up with fully geared 4 man dominating the maps like on mobile.

Interesting game, faster paced it looks like, than Tarkov, much better graphics for sure. Also, more arcade-y or more user friendly. A bit immersion breaking with the "you are out of stamina, can't run or jump" messages, but otherwise, it's OK. and it only now enters Closed Beta. This could be big and BSG has something to fear I think, especially after the Unseen debuckle...
