- One of the more memorable dolls from the 90's came out of Mattel. They were called Magic Nursery. In this video, we show off the Magic Nursery that reside in our collections. There's not a ton of great resources of information on the line, so this is more of a show and tell than an informational video! Do you remember Magic Nursery? Do you think they should bring them back? Let us know in the comment area!

My daughter has been playing with an old doll of mine we found at my mom’s house. I landed here after looking for info, and the memories came FLOODING back!
Happy to help bring back fond memories.
I found a magic nursery baby yesterday at goodwill! I was so excited I used to have the triplets when I was little! I found the boy in the blue bunting with his hat! His eyes also still open and close with water! Love these dolls!
Awesome! I just wish I could find one in box to open for the channel!!!!
My daughter was playing with mine. Bought it with my allowance in 1991, so I saved it. I have a blonde one with the yellow and pink dress. I'm looking for the commercial to show her and stumbled upon your video. Awesome collection!
Thank you!
I love magic nursery and she is still with me for over 30 years ❤❤
I wish they'd come back out with them!
chale, quiero una de estas muñecas, que mujeres tan afortunadas por tener su coleccion de estos monitos, ¿porque nunca las han vuelto a sacar a la venta? extraño mucho esos juguetes de los 80s-90s.
Wow early surprise doll! My kids were in that demographic but for some reason I don't remember ever seeing these dolls!
I just found one of these today at the Salvation Army! It was the holiday one you have and she’s so cute. I was so happy too because she was in great condition and didn’t even have a funky smell to her. Haha! I came home to do some research/digging and found your video! Awesome collection! 😊
Thank you and awesome find!!!!
Tommy was my newborn boy magic nursery baby I got Christmas of 89 when I was 7 he still has orgional diaper bonnet outfit just no shoes. He loves this video and says hi I named him tommy in honor of my grandpa who died in feb of 1990. Xmas of 89 was last time with grandpa
Wow to be from.the late 80's they look very modern❤
i love Magic Nursery. I was "too old" for these types of dolls when they came out. My younger cousin got one for Christmas (a girl) I think they are so cute. I used to have a few that i rescued from thrift stores. But i sold them all years ago to help pay for my college education :D
It is interesting how the prices for these guys are still so high, MIB, at least.
I have one magic nursery and love it.injoy your video

So sorry to hear about your originals! Happy to hear you found them again through eBay. :)
I always name my dolls. I just think it's cute and helps me remember certain ones.
I always forget their names. ha ha! Good on you for remembering them!
I love Magic Nursery dolls!! I had several as a kid. I really wish I still had them. You guys have a great collection!!
Thanks for watching!
I still have my twin dolls, but not the triplets. I put the them in storage and around 2004 my daughter (now 20) found them and she adopted one of them and completely rejected the other. She fell in love with a blonde Magic Nursey doll I named Hannah and she continued calling her Hannah and carried that baby doll every where for years. She did name the other one herself because I never could remember what I named the twin but Hannah Montana was a brand new show in 2004/05 so since one was named Hannah, she named the other Montana.
I loved Magic Nursery dolls! I had a few, they were so much fun. I would love to have the experience of the reveal again. I also remember the pulpy stuff floating around in the water! lol
Maybe Mattel will see this review one day and realize that they need to bring them back. We can hope, right?
Chiming in as a Magic Nursery Mommy. I still have mine somewhere, but I'm not sure where it is. Either me or my sister had one of the Tiny Wonders, the ones that you close their eyes with warm water.
I can still vaguely remember swirling the nightie in water and seeing it just melt off, revealing the gender and outfit. Really blew my little four-year-old mind at the time.
You know Mattel had a quite a racket going on with the twins. I can only imagine how many kids howled for another doll when they didn't get one with a twin.
The magical reveals really were fun. :)
They were indeed. :D
I have a magic nursery Christmas doll. They are so cute and beautiful.👼👼👼
I agree. I wish they'd re-release those!
So what does the super bag do? Make music 🎶 or other?
So cute, I never had a magic nursery, I recently bought the diaper bag off of eBay and the battery box does work but I don’t understand, you hold the button down and it make a funny noise and the other two buttons move up and down
I wish you had a new one so you could show how the process works because I'm having a hard time imagining in my head how it would go haha.
There are some videos here on YT that show show the process off, though it lacks something when you're not really working the magic!
tienen montones de muñecas Magic Nursery, mulatas/mestizas con ojos azules, verdes o miel, nomas una observacion.
I found a Magic Nursery baby doll in the basement of my old house. She was an African American doll with a pink and yellow outfit. She was out of the box but was still in very good condition. At first I thought she was stained. Because she had all this white stuff all over her skin that would not come off. Then I took a Clorox bleach wipe and just whiter skin and all the stuff came off. I put her down on the couch for a second. Thinking set my chihuahua was outside. Bad idea! Because when I came back I found my chihuahua with the doll in the floor and she had bit through the dolls lips. I was able to fix her though. She didn't look 100% but she still looked good enough after I fixed her mouth. I don't have the doll anymore though. Because there was a little 2 year old girl and her family that moved from to town from somewhere in Ohio. The owner of the storage building would not let them get their stuff because they were behind on rent and didn't have the means to catch him up. The family had nothing because of that terrible man. So I ended up giving the little girl majority of the dolls I found in the basement after I cleaned them up of course. And that Magic Nursery doll happen to be one of dolls that I gave her. I also gave them my entertainment center. When I gave them the stuff the little girl's face just lit up and the parents also looked pretty happy.
The family that lived in that house before me and my family left a lot of good stuff behind. They had a very big family so there was quite a few dolls down there. I found that Magic Nursery doll, a bunch of generic offbeat brand dolls, Monster High dolls, Barbie dolls, a life-sized baby boy doll which I still have but it's in my older step-sister's storage unit, and I also found doll accessories galore down there. I had honestly never seen so many dolls in one place not even at a toy store.
It always feels nice to give dolls to people who will really appreciate them. :) Thanks for sharing!
I have 2 magic nursery baby dolls and they are both holiday dolls! One is a boy and one is a girl.
Nice! They sound precious!
i am also a magic nursery doll collector, I have 4 pets, all different colors, and 8 dolls, one of which is a boy, which is hard to find.
What a fun doll line to collect!
