What would happen if you put suspension on a BMX bike?

Have you ever stared at your bike for way too long? Well I have and it can lead to some extremely bad ideas. I had one today and it is really bad. Hello guys, my name is Ben and this is B.A.D. bikes and today we are going to be taking the front suspension off my mtb and putting it on my bmx and well seeing what happens. I have a lot of questions that need answering; Will it work? Is it worth it? Can I ride it? And we are gonna answer all of them in this video.
So I began by taking the fork off my bmx. This is a pretty basic process but I'll explain it to you anyway. The first step is to loosen the pink bolts on either side of the head tube and then loosen the top cover screw all the way and you should be able to pull the fork right out. If your having any problems just repeat the process.
After I was done with the BMX, I started to do the same thing on my MTB except that I took everything out of the cockpit because I’m not going to be using this frame. After that the magic happened. a new bike was born the mountain BMX! it looked totally alien. The geometry was all wrong and the reality was setting in that I was going to have to ride this thing. So without further ado let's… let’s ride.
My thoughts are a little bit mixed on this bike. I wanted this thing to work so badly but it didn't work at all. The top tub is way too high up. The geometry was extremely slack, so slack that I had to lean forward in order to stay on the bike and the handlebars, I mean they're just crazy!
If you were to embark on this crazy build (which I don't suggest you do) I think having the same size tire would help and a fork with less travel (mine was 100 mm). Also using some MTB handlebars would make it so that you're not so high up.

This would work if the BMX frame was for 26" tires. You could have tilted the seat forward and lower handlebars would be better. A dirt jumper is basically a BMX with a suspension fork, right?
I'm putting a suspension fork on a klunker I'm building and I see no problems.

ya a dirt jumper is basically the same as a BMX and it is cool to hear that someone else is building bikes.

No, a jump bike is not the same as a bmx with a suspension fork. Maybe to someone who doesn’t ride bikes they look similar, but they are way different in a lot of ways. A dirt jumper is closer to mtb than bmx.

at that point just get shock for a 20 inch mountain bike and put them on a bmx and im bouta convert a hyper shocker 20 inch into a single speed full suspension bmx
