"Lady Nerissa was born into the noble family of the Freshwater fish people. Together with her family, they ruled all the exotic fish on the banks of the Amazon. However, after the devastation and pollution of their waters and the massacre of its inhabitants, Lady Nerissa vowed to help her people. She learned to use water magic to purify the waters. Therefore, she always carries a drop of pure water with her to enchant polluted waters.For her defense, she always carries an extract of the poisonous frog's toe, making her a powerful ruler of all waters and a protector of the defenseless". 🧜🏻♀️🩷🧜🏻♀️
Today we're going to create a doll inspired by my favorite childhood series, Fish Police. A detective like Hercule Poirot, combined with the creative environment of an underwater realm and the style of the past century's 1930s, fascinated me as a child, especially the female characters. They're humanoid fish beings, and their design is amazing to me. Moments like these make me want to go back in time. In this cult series, the main characters were fish with a dorsal fin on their heads, small fins on their arms, and a large fin in place of legs, in a style reminiscent of mermaids.
So I hope you will like it and you enjoy this video.

I applaud your decision to go with the fin for hair. I think it stays true to your animation inspiration, and to beta fish aesthetic. I like that you went more ‘fishy’ for this. Meaning specifically: many depictions are mermaids with essentially the dolphin lower body but with scales, and then human hair - there is something about that, I guess I know just enough biology for it to bother me without being able to explain why. However, you have made a ‘fish person’ it seems less incongruous, I think I have explained badly.
Anyway, I really like her.

Lady Nerissa is spectacular! She is my most favorite in the entire collab, that is not to say that the other mermaids aren't beautiful but I just love yours. The way you made her fins and tail are reminiscent of the real Siamese Fighting Fish. Which are very beautiful. Your talents are phenomenal. Thank you for sharing this doll. ❤😂😊

She became even more stunning after the first "choice" of colors. Good thing you listened to your self and stuck with your original design else risk her not looking as good as she did in the end. I have several betta fishes and I would say thaf you have captured the essence of these beautiful fresh water fishes. fun fact. did you know that betta fish in tanks gets tired easily of swimming because of their large fins so there are hammocks for them to rest on.

Watch @catmelon she has some steps with the head and hair removal that would really help you. Like hemostats to grab and pull out hair instead of all the scrapping

So you attached the head fins by the hot glue? I'm just waiting for worbla for my doll, and would like to know how to glue it down to the doll's vinyl head🤔🤔🤔 hot glue or resin? Any wire armature will be visible through the transparent material

it's UV resin bent with a heat gun, so it's solid plastic
the paper was just for tracing templates
On fins i use werbla transpa art and than uv resin with color🤗

Yeah, definitely needs to practice doing voiceovers. It's distracting and makes me not want to continue the video
I guess maybe the music its too loud along the voice over?? Maybe if you would lower the background music it would be less distracting, your way of speaking is not difficult to understand or follow along, you might just sound a little shy or hesitant bt i think you speak pretty clearly. Keep up with the good work! 😊❤
