My wife and I have hunted in this area for years and it is a very big beautiful area. Lots of Moose, Bears, Coyote, grouse, Ducks, and Geese. Awesome video. The Abattoir is an awesome place to get meat processed. See you next time.

How can you make a clean kill at those distances unless you're a sniper?
The first moose I totally missed. 350 yards away and windy. The moose down in this video was less than 100 yards 😊

Hi Dave. I had either sex license, cow or bull. This time of year the bulls are into rut which sometimes means if you get a bull moose the meat can be bad tasting. The population of moose in newfound is healthy and I see more bulls taken than cows pics floating around. This moose was also alone, which was even better 😊
Congrats Melanie. I hope your going to throw the moose tongue in a big pot of boiling water with onions and garlic it’s my favourite part of the moose I make sandwiches out of it mmmmm! Oh and you can fill in for Chuck anytime great job!
Haha! I havent had a tongue boiled in a long long time. Last one I had was with the caribou hunt in Labrador. And that closed a decade ago.
