Doing pushups (200 at that) when you're suffering from broken bones and a spinal injury is objectively a really dumb decision. You can't just train yourself out of it. I adore Lee, I understand why he's doing it, he's doing it because he's panicking and feels powerless. But it is not a smart or a good decision, you can't just train yourself out of sh*t like that and yes, you should absolutely not push yourself in that situation. It just sucks that this sentiment (a very true one in this situation) comes from Sakura, who by this point hasn't pushed herself a single day in her life.

I'm not calling him dumb, but Sakura (who is a year younger than him, if we're talking about people being kids) is correct here. I'm not really criticizing Lee, just pointing out that what he's doing is not good. I don't really understand people who look at that scene and go "yeah, that's so badass" instead of "my dude you need to go in and rest or you'll make it worse".
@CreiwryJay it's bad ass because it's a hard scene where everyone would get depressed being in that position yet we see this characters sheer motivation and determination to be better going through this hardship.
For years he's been training and has created a habit to train. So in this dire situation he's in if you think about it what would a person in emotional pain do to distress and feel safe. Training.
