    Finally, a good quality and useful video that covers all this stuff. You probably missed airy pitched notes.Thanks!

      Hi Rodrigo, thanks for pointing that out! For that you just blow really lightly against the reed, kind of like sub tones on saxophone. Might just be way more simple and straightforward to write, "ppppp," haha. I've had composers write something like that or n

    Actually listening back, not sure if the consonances are as distinct/ convincing as I thought lol. Sorry for forgetting to do open-mouth embouchure demo of the 5 vowels. When I said "low-flow air" I meant low (back of the) tongue position.

    I want to know about the palate/sinus air leaks that I hear in my head when I am playing clarinet. I want to know if other people can hear them or only I can hear them & how I can get rid of them

    • @tpark89
      @tpark89  4 роки тому

      Hi Peggy, thank you for your comment! May I ask, what kind of set up are you using? Sometimes if the instrument is quite leaky (increased resistance) or if your set up has too much resistance from a hard reed or a mouthpiece that is too open in the tip opening or in the size of the chamber, etc., the back pressure can result into such air leaks you are referring to.

      @@tpark89 I have a Buffet R13 with M13L mouthpiece and #3 Vandoren V12 reeds. Can other people here the noise too or is it just in my ears

    • @tpark89
      @tpark89  4 роки тому

      @@peggyschrabeck5236 that would be difficult for me for to know without hearing you play. Feel free to send me a recording to my e-mail (via my website found on Google). However, that sounds like a reasonable setup thus I wonder if your clarinet is leaking because it's been a while since you got it serviced or because it's cracked (thus leaking). Leak= great resistance. When was the last time you got your clarinet looked over by a repair technician? How are the pads on the instrument? How old is your instrument?

    I'd really like to know whether you can produce whistle tone-like sounds on the clarinet (fast changing high pitches), maybe using teeths ? ..

    • @tpark89
      @tpark89  4 роки тому

      Yes it is possible- teeth on reed. However it is quite unpleasant and kind of painful so I don't recommend writing a lot of this.

    안녕하세요! 혹시 공기소리를 낼때 운지에 따라 차이가 있나요? 음높이에 따라서요! 1:35초즘 연주하신 공기소리는 어떤 음을 운지하셨나요? 만약에 악보에 표기한다면 이렇게 해주면 연주자들이 알아보기가 쉬울까요? 혹시 한국어로 댓글다는게 문제 있음 알려주세용! 영상 잘 봤습니다 :)

      안녕하세요! 제가 최선을 다해서 한국말로 리플 달아보겠습니다 ㅎㅎ 클라리넷 공기소리 핑거링 notation 을 다이아몬드 모양이 자주 사용 되더라고요. Note for performers에 그게 공기소리라고 적어주시면 충분 할것같아요. 음들은 여러가지가 있는데요, 통틀어서 두 종류가 있는것 같아요. 하나는 그냥 말대로 공기소리이고, 다른하나는 아주 아주 작은 (pppppppppppp 거의 n) 소리이고요. 첫번째 종류는 다이아몬드 notation이 으용 되는게 맞다고 생각하고요, 음은 대표적으로 LH Throat B-flat, A, G#, Thumb, 1, 2, 3, RH 1, 2, 3, RH pinky, LH pinky 뭐 그정도 있다고 보시면 될것같고요, register key 를 사용하나 마나 별로 차의가 없지만 제가 듣기엔 안쓰는게 소리가 더 뚜렷하게 나오는것 같아요. 아주아주 작은 소리 (pppppppppp)는 그냥 정상 소리 notation 사용하시면서 dynamic 표시 적절하게 해주시면 될것같아요. 느끼셨겠지만 연주분하고 한번 직접 만나셔서 들어보시면 제일 좋을것같아요. 주의해 주셔야할 한가지 부분은 클라 공기소리는 사용하는 notation 하고 다른 소리 (여러가지의소리?) 가 나서 그냥 말그대로 sound effect 에요. 아주 아주 작은 소리는 regular-pitched 고요. 댓글 달아주셔서 감사하고 화이팅입니다! ^^
