I lost 2 close friends 3yrs ago. One ghosted me, one talked to me about it. And both ways broke my heart. I agree everyone will have different ideas of who you are. Another thing I learned from this experience was that, sometimes people will continue to see you as the version they first knew you as, instead of learning about who you are as you change. And, I rather keep those who still want to be friends with me as I grow and change in life. Because we never stay as one identity and one personality in life, we’re always changing as we learn and experience new things.
I lost my 10 years best friend last year, 2023. what surprised me was that after 10 years of friendship, that's how she sees me. and it broke me...but at the same time I realised how toxic our friendship was, and I am now happier spending my quality time with friends who truly know me and love me for who I am. I still think about her sometimes , the friendship breakup is not easy but I know that I will be fine and I will get better and better this year
Turning 30 tomorrow and I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel cancer this past August. I’ve been watching your videos for the last 10 years and your most recent videos have given me so much peace and encouragement that I am still me during this process. So thank you Jenn and here’s to entering my 30s! 🩷

Happy birthday Jenn! This video has me in tears, I love seeing you at peace with yourself. It’s truly inspiring. Something I realized over time, I’m 35 now, that is nothing is permanent. That includes people, objects, events, and ourselves. We are always changing and evolving. It’s sad to see people exist, but at the same time, it’s also opening up room for someone new. Realizing this made me be more at ease about many things, I’m still emotional and sad when it happens but I’ve gotten better at handling it ❤

Same thing! I am 26 now too, and I feel like I have evolved to my adult self little bit with Jenn. When I started to watch this chanel I was super into fashion, then I tried to find my self and now I try to figure out how to live my adult life with emotional palance and peace while striving to be better at my work. In all those stages I have find some comfort and thoughts from these videos!

discovered your channel at the height of the pandemic, when everything felt uncertain and unstable -- even my relationship with myself. i'm happy to say that i've grown so much since then, and you were a big part of that. watching you actively take care of yourself, celebrating your wins and showing compassion towards the rougher parts, inspired me to flex that muscle too. there was/is admittedly a LOT of growing pains, but every year, i just get more and more excited to meet who i'm becoming. thank you so much jenn for all your wisdom and light ✨ happy happy birthday!!!

Hi Jen! I love your vulnerability, especially the part about being intentional with the people who want to be included in your life. When people ghost you without explanation, it has to do with their communication style and past experience-- not something to take personally, though I agree there is room for reflection and self-discovery.
