Gideon and Henry working on the chicken fence made my granma heart go pitter patter. Bless their sweet hearts. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Henry is so cute, answering so clearly when he understands and being quiet when he doesn't 😍 kids are great! Mr Brown ditched his shoes for now! Happy day to you all 💞🤗
Richard Perkins at Ridgedale Permaculture found that a determining factor was the take-off zone, more than the dive-bomb zone. If the bird doesn't think it has room to take off, it won't dive bomb in. Maybe some sort of fringe or netting or screen hanging from the higher roofline would suffice.
Perhaps, just for 1%, a 12" - 18" curtain of bird netting (like used on fruit trees) around the edge of that Shaw would give an extra layer of aerial protection. It would deter swooping in without blocking air flow or any movement of the birds on the ground and weight would be negligible.
Love your videos, I just wanted to bring up the idea of coffee chaff for brooder bedding. It’s a byproduct of coffee roasting and most times free and smells amazing!
I also think GIdeaon realises he's become a role model to Henry and now dives into chores and works with his little brother. Your farm and animals are all looking so healthy and happy
Henry seems to hav the interest & motivation like Jonah. Mr Brown is really coming along, helping even if he doesn't really enjoy it. Jonah is a trooper as usual! Johnah is a natural.
I love howGideon has become the chicken master and all around great helper around the farm all this in about 6 months I’m so impressed with all your family what with your young baker chef 👩🍳 Lily I wish I could taste her cakes 🎂 they look awesome and those meals mmmm add her milking skill and now Young Henry is starting to help around the place with his siblings help you are living the dream and when Jonah gets his hip sorted there will be no stopping him and his engineering skills and that will ease the load for Jonas who stepped up with out being told what great guys they are . 🙏🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶🤵♂️🙏☘️🇬🇧🇺🇸👩🍳👨👩👦👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾🐓🦃🐐🐂🐈
I was wondering why you put the fence around the turkeys on top of all they greenery. I remember that the heavy grass touching the fence grounds it out.
Oh Mr Brown you are such a hard worker…look at him watching and learning at such a young age…brilliant…yea it was time they wer out in fresh air but boy ther noisy ha…the turkeys are getting big soon the only thing that cld pick them up from the air wld be an eagle….why white birds wldnt it be safer getting dark birds so predators can’t pick them out so easily…the fit farmer Mike said he’s making your Chickasaw 500 next he loves them…
just how healthy is this soda, low in sugar ? i do not drink soda of any kind, witch is why my A1C IS 4.7 AS OF 5/2023 ,my choice drink is H2O,and plenty of it,YOUR KIDNEYS WILL LOVE YOU ALL DAY LONG...
How do I convince my husband that having chickens is a good idea? I realy want some! I am homesteading on a tiny scale, with tomatoes, strawberryes, potatoes and I have a greenhouse I am building any day now. To me chickens is next! He is not a fan. How do I convince him?!
@@tonygrimes13 I've raised chickens in the past and there's a little work involved. Poo must be dealt with and feed and water must be supplied. They need housing which is secure from predators and weather.
If you always call your poultry people doesn't it make it awkward to eat them lol.... I feel like it's a good thing Cornish cross are gross non personality birds. It makes it easier to be shed of them
Gideon sure is becoming a young man and engaging the work as well as being a great big brother to Henry. Love the Henry and Gideon teamwork!
Growing up strong and makin a hand!
Just look at Mr Brown working so hard! He’s come into his own ❤. Oh my even Lil Henry is working. ❤
Josiah is just the coolest person. I love his whole vibe.
Going from the youngest and now the BEST big brother to Henry. You rock Gideon! And what a blessing and help you have become to your family.
Farmer Henry's haircut makes him look like a little boy instead of a baby. They grow up so quickly. God bless you.
I'm impressed with Henry's accuracy with a hammer! Excellent eye/hand coordination!
Gideon and Henry working on the chicken fence made my granma heart go pitter patter. Bless their sweet hearts. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Sure miss Jonah. I hope he is staying busy with projects he can tackle till his hip is repaired. He’s a great kid. They all are!
I agree ☝️ 🎉
Gideon, im so proud of you. And a great teacher for wee henry.. happy hammering little man..
Mr Brown has grown up so much so fast! Look at him working on new tasks
Always enjoy watching you and your family out on the farm!
Henry really wants to learn. Love watching his growth and the family helping Henry ‘s life lessons.
Chef Lilly is rocking the food prep. She needs a raise!
4 corn seeds per hole is perfect. One for the cutworm, one for the crow, one to rot and one to grow!
Go Gideon! And Henry...wow, he's a sponge soaking it all up.
All the chitlers are awesome. They are living the dream life of many people. Y'all are amazing and wonderfully blessed.❤💚💜💙💛🙏👍💪🐔🐤🐥🐣🐓
Henry is so cute, answering so clearly when he understands and being quiet when he doesn't 😍 kids are great! Mr Brown ditched his shoes for now! Happy day to you all 💞🤗
I can not believe how Henry has growed up and so smart and likes to work
Your children are incredible. Mr Brown is also sharing the load. Exceptional family.

Just a hint for your Skid Steer hydraulics, you can modify a trigger clamp to help you (or Jonah) complete the connection at the couplings.
Wow, that is the first time I’ve seen Henry say No. 😂

Hi.... Justin Rhodes and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead chicken duck goose farmer garden 🐔🐓🐣🐤🍗🦆🐶🐕🦮🐈🐑🐄🐖🐷🐝 BYE 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
Excellent job Justin. I gotta try lily's taco recipe 😋
Justin if you find the meat shaw is too high for the chickens maybe you could fashion 1 foot drop down sides. Or maybe put on take off sides

Mr. Brown and his protege Henry shoeless and working hard as they play. They are just entertainment in motion.
Wonderful family working together! Thanks for sharing!
The boys need their summer haircuts! Lol
And a daily brushing.
I am so impressed with Gideon! He really is stepping up to help!
4:53 G being a good older brother.
"Why is that thing so tall" mr brown thought he shrunk for a minute❤ 😂
Hooks around edge of shaw , hang mesh when using for chickens, remove when using for animals ?
Love ya all
Everyone is working so well. I see Henry has started doing his part.
Have you guys considered using nets over the chickens and turkeys for shade and against aerial predators?

Henry is a little Jonah.❤
Hey! He just doesn't seem like "old mister brown" any more!

#ahorseforlily 🦄
I love what you said Justin. I was taught, Parents, do not provoke your children to wrath against you. So true! 😂
Clearly not a lot of predator pressure. Bobcats, even dogs could jump over those wee fences. Hope they stay safe.
😊🙏
❤️🐓🦃🐓🦃😃
I laughed out loud when you said... fathers don’t exasperate your children. (While you’re laughing) 😂😂
I love the quick catch. It's the best isnt it! When catching comes in the very moment. Yes!
Make sure you keep a horse stable for Lilis' future pony ; )
Can Winnie give any level of protection?
What kind of soda was this? I’d love to try it.

No shelter for the turkeys 😢
Justin are you ok?
My name is Gideon
Why 8 eggs at a time under a hen? Last year one of my hens hid 19 eggs and hatched out 17. Right now, I have a hen on 18. Is that bad?
just how healthy is this soda, low in sugar ? i do not drink soda of any kind, witch is why my A1C IS 4.7 AS OF 5/2023 ,my choice drink is H2O,and plenty of it,YOUR KIDNEYS WILL LOVE YOU ALL DAY LONG...

Zevia black cherry!!!!! Much less sweet!
How do I convince my husband that having chickens is a good idea?
I realy want some! I am homesteading on a tiny scale, with tomatoes, strawberryes, potatoes and I have a greenhouse I am building any day now. To me chickens is next! He is not a fan.
How do I convince him?!
He needs to taste eggs from a homestead rather than bought from the supermarket!!
Will you do the work?
@@sueyoung2115 What work???
@@tonygrimes13 I've raised chickens in the past and there's a little work involved. Poo must be dealt with and feed and water must be supplied. They need housing which is secure from predators and weather.
@@tonygrimes13 agreed! Home raised eggs are far superior in taste and nutrients to commercial.
What ever happened to teddy did they rehome him?
They gave the dog away.
What happened to your 4+ seater SxS?
Being fixed according to a recent video!
How's harroon u have not mentioned him in a while
Arun went to India for a family visit. He has a UA-cam channel, input *cooking with arun kumar* into UA-cam search
Innn mai bouks and on mai tapes…..
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸☕️☕️☕️👀👀👀🥃🥃🥃🍻🍻🍻👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Henry needs shoes on to prevent foot injury
Shoes also slow down the parasites
I don’t understand why many of the homesteaders kids are running around without shoes. And please don’t mention the grounding nonsense.
Justin, someone is trying to scam people on Telegram using your name. Please let us know what’s happening…
It's happening to lots of UA-cam channels.
