Glad Jonah is getting his mobility back. We use a cheap long handled fishing net for catching chickens and it saves tons of time.
The only issue we have with the long handled chicken catching net is we never remember where we left it the last time we used it and by the time we actually find it we could have just done without.
@maruiacancer6 Why don't you try an holistic approach ? There most be some doctor in your area, ozone therapy and high doses of vit C can help, the cure however is in Houston, TX with doctor Brudzinski and Panama where they treat with stem cells from umbilical cord .
God bless.
I love the hodgepodge of activities in this video. Real family life. Great job of editing. Thanks.
I would compost that pile out on the patch of low quality soil, in the sunlight. Once it breaks down, remove most of it, but till some into that clay soil underneath the pile.
Josiah is really good with the mini Excavator. Glad Jonah is doing better since his hip replacement. Blessing for your family🤗
Oh Boy, Jonah gets the bandage off!.. Wow, your home is coming right along, So excited for you all..
Im so glad to see you back with daily life. Thankyou.
Great to see you out there jonah! Healing seems pretty quick this time!
Hi.... Justin Rhodes and Rebecca thanks 😊 you for showing your video homestead chicken duck goose farmer garden 🐔🐓🐣🐤🍗🦆🐶🐕🦮🐈🐑🐄🐖🐷🐝 BYE 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
I used to joke that a perfect home for my 4 teenage kids would have a bathroom that had concrete walls and a stainless steel floor with a drain grate in the low spot and multiple faucets for hoses to wash down the debris. Two boys that played football and baseball and two girls who played volleyball and tennis. And kids don’t shower at school like they did back when I was a kid. Between sweat stained uniforms and sweat covered kids, our bathroom was in constant use for 5 years, (a senior, a junior, a sophomore and a 9th grader)! The idea of a wet room is brilliant for an active family like this!
Your house is going to be gorgeous.... and amazing.
@11:36 Winnie's face is hilarious, as if she's saying
"whazzup ! I thought being a guardian dog was all about being chill?
Since I got here, this family hasn't ever sat still ! "
chuckle.
Good day from Kamakura, Japan 🇯🇵! Everything is looking good at the Rhodes Homestead! 👍🏾👏🏾🤩🐶
Grandpa took 8 55 gal barrels a 50lb bag of feed in each filled with water fed dairy cow and steer ,pigs, goat, 50 turkeys, and 300 meat chickens each day than rotate to next barrel ,6 wk harvest less grain bill , 25 lb turkey pullets, 8 to 10 lb meat chickens 6 weeks
Another busy day on the homestead. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with all the activity. But we know good things are happening with Jonah and the house. Thinking of Justin as he has to get his nose fixed.
thank goodness u have MANY helping hands....
Your remodel looks fantastic! Great to see Jonah up and about so much! ☺️
Wonderful how you are developing your children’s critical thinking skills. Bravo!
So excited for your new home!!!
' I didnt like it but i sat still for it ' what a sweetheart!!!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and life. ❤️❤️❤️
Good morning new A wonderful farm I will support new friends from Japan ♪😸👍🔔🇯🇵
Josiah's voice is starting to sound like Jonah's. I can't wait to see them doing things together again!
Well done. Good job. Good food. Good family and your animals. I am glad for you guys because you have new house coon.
When my mom's chickens would stop laying, she would feed them oats.
Whole, crimped, steel cut, or rolled.
She soaked the steel cut and rolled prior to feeding. In about a week or two she would get eggs from every chicken every day. Occasionally one of her hens would lay in the morning and the evening.
The house is coming right along! Everything is so green!
For use around cement, embed an insulated post into a 5 gal bucket with some concrete in the bottom. Then you can place them as needed on the cement.
Watching people chase chickens will never not be funny 😊🤣♥️
So much going on it's a whirlwind but so glad Jonah is slowly returning to normal, he so deserves to catch up on just being a young adult and have fun without pain or discomfort
The new build is looking great!
Gosh....so much work!❤😂
I am so jealous, enjoy the remodel and I’ll keep saying you need two washers and two dryers
I haven't been to a movie theater since 1999 😊😊
Keep up the good work Justin I was going to try your maggot bucket but I didn’t have anything to put In it and I have about 30ish buff oppington chicks that I hatched and I’m definitely going to try your chicken tractor and ChickShaw when they get bigger I’m really excited to ❤
Good job on that boys more than I could handle glad you have help
The home build is moving right along 👍👍
Dang, that's a BIG house. Rebekah, do you think your new kitchen island will be big enough?
Wouldn’t it be better to move the manure pile to the sacrifice area so the worms can help and your planting area would be improved? How will it work on concrete? Then the fenced are can be bigger and the chickens can’t jump out. ???
Hey! Wait a minute... Yeah? Yeah... Hey! Have I not been paying attention? Jonah is weight-bearing!
Wow the building progress looks great
I wish your editor allowed us to follow your story and daily activities with less jerky cuts.....angles.....and overall less nervous energy. IMHO I have no trouble staying engaged without tension and changing scenes every two seconds.
Exactly!!!! I miss the older videos that were relaxing.
Indiana Jones movie was great
Oh my. Something is always up on your farm!
After my bandage came off, it was another 3 or so weeks for my incision to really heal/close up totally! No swimming yet! Too much of a risk and bacteria load!
I don’t understand why Rebekah thinks she can go in that house build and change walls, doors and ceilings and move things around every day😮 ? She must not realize how much extra that is going to cost. 🤷🏼♀️
This is their forever house. Better to have it the way you want it right?
@daydream - I was thinking the same thing, when we built I had to move the electrical outlets out further than the original plan, so the king size bed would fit between the outlets. Builder charged me $50 for each outlet. I think they charge you for everything, so you quit changing your mind about the original plan.
Yes, she is a builder's nightmare. Most dread the wives being around so much.
Great family 😊
I think you need to put your waterlines underground.
Excellent Indiana Jones movie. I saw it yesterday.
You have very hard-working kids
Bovidae on the loose again 🤦🏾♂️ Oh, no. Might suggest a scheduled alarm for fence check 2 hours after setup and an hour before bed? However, I may miss the funny animal corraling scenes 😅
I drill holes in another 5 gal bucket and pour my soaked chicken feed into that to drain it. Soaking changed everything with my chickens( but i use whole grain and not feed)
I love just how many ways there are to do something! Lets everyone express their own God given creativity! I love homesteading with my family too!

Is the house going to be bigger or is it the same square footage but configured differently? PS your chicken thinks it's a road runner.
👍💪💛🙏
We saw the movie and u r right total Indian Jones! Just good fun
Sir, you want to have the sauna next to an external wall. It is important to have good airflow so your house doesn't end up smelling like urine. Do not build it in the middle of your house.
@Finn - wonder why they don't do an outdoor sauna how they do in Finland.
@@Jane_Snow_ we got those inside the house too, I just wanted to tell about the airflow. It's not only heat going through the house, it's also 100's of gallons of water vapour and sweat that has to exit somewhere. If it is in the middle of the house, it has to have it's own vent out. And a sauna without a window is like sitting in a hot cupboard.🫡
Josiah's future wife, thanks you for the farmhouse upgrade, (once in a generation!)
How would you guide wastewater from under the pile? Do you have a natural slope towards the creek?
You should have seen the SOUND OF FREEDOM ❤️
Are the boys having their bedrooms downstairs? Your house is going to be amazing.
Your smart to not have done a live in remodel. I can’t tell you how hard it is to get work done with the owners still inside
❤
❤
Organic eggs here are 4.95 on the high side....some in the 3.99 range.
Could weigh the birds to see how fast they are growing.

I'm going to watch the 30 videos I missed backwards! 😂
Nobody wanted to watch the barbie movie
I do.
Because it’s a woke movie
@@AstroEtherealDiscovery how is it woke? Lol. Barbie is so feminine and a girls girl… it’s just that Ken isn’t the main character. Such a fun movie. I’m going to see it again tonight 😂
yes
That definitely looks different more home team like.
Tiles on the ceiling ?
That'll be a nightmare to lay and grout
If they say it's okay to swim, are you sure that includes swimming in a pond with farm runoff? Sounds like tempting Fate to me.
Where the pond is situated there is no farm run off, even from pastures!!!!
woodchips under the chickens.
Chicken s**t makes good manure for your vegetable garden, even for flowers. 👍❤️👍🇬🇧
Mom and pop can you have the little ones pray for me sick and body my name is Christine ❤
No Sound of Freedom [Adults]
😊👍😊
Whats d age differance between d 2 older boys??
💝👌👍
Feel bad for your family when Henry thought you went to the doctor :(
I agree Indiana Jones was good.
💝💕💖
you may need to divide the manure.
Do any of your kids want to play sports?
Is this a repeat video of yesterday? Weird.
👋👋👀👀❤❤
Oh man, Indiana Jones sucked.
oh dear more mishaps with the animals
Camera work is dizzy
That's the worst looking water piping job I've ever seen.
