I got a ride with the Aeroshell team (back when they were 'just' the North American Aerobatic Team) and loved it! Would gladly do it again if they happened to be in the area of KPRC and allowed me to fly with them again.
That particular bird statue from the Budapest race represents a historical "Turul bird". The Turul is a mythological bird of prey, mostly depicted as a falcon, in Hungarian tradition, and a national symbol of Hungarians.
Mike is a amazing pilot to watch. One day I'll go to Oshkosh. Busy with the antique cars and shows. Medically I couldn't fly anymore. Glad you share your adventures with us Jimmy.
Flying with Mike Goulian would be a dream come true. You are one blessed man Jimmy! I’ve been flying RC Airplanes since 1989 and have flown sport planes, scale planes, park flyers, 3D, pylon racers (expert class national level competition racing)and helicopters. Anyone who loves aerobatic flying knows who Mike is, thank you so much for sharing this experience brother! (Only wish I could be there, just not in the cards for me any more 🥹)
How cool! Mike is so humble and hospitable. I love how he gives you instruction on where to look in order to really be able to appreicate the moves that you're experiencing in the air.
I found you three weeks ago, Dude, you. Man your content is awesome. I soloed in 1970 in my Dad's 47 J5. I so dig your channel. God bless you while you breath.❤😊
Mike seems like such a great guy, with an awesome history. That E330LX is absolutely pristine, as are the other aircraft and hangar - what a top tier aviation group. Someone is going to have a seriously great day!
One of my favorite things is to watch an expert performing their craft and when they’re obviously still having fun, it brings it to a whole other level.
Oh man… How I wish I could go! I hope everyone that does get to go has just an amazing time, of course including you Jimmy and your awesome family. God bless all the pilots out there and their families as well as all the spectators!
Good to see you doing well Jimmy I remember finding your channel a couple years ago and it’s really good to see a nice wholesome guy progress on UA-cam
When you started talking to Mike Goulian I immediately remembered him from the Red Bull Air Races years ago. Awesome guy! What a great conversation and then the flight! Absolutely amazing! Wish I could be there.
The adrenaline rush was nuts when I learned to fly and my instructor showed me spin recoveries. Still not a fan, but obviously the more you do it, the more comfortable you get. I need a lot more of that. So cool.
This is one of my favorite videos now ! Jimmy's joy was so infectious I couldn't stop laughing or smiling. He was as giddy as a little kid with a brand new puppy !
I’ve done aerobatics in a T34-B mentor when I was in the navy and had to wear a parachute as well and to top it off I was a parachute rigger in the navy so yes I know how it feels to loop roll do emblems . Barrel rolls and inverted flight so yeah it’s a load of fun and I recommend everyone try it once and yes I did jump out of a perfectly good airplane once with a chute I packed
Lost two friends practicing acrobatics in Iceland with a 34B. Summer midnight is daily. They still had some low visibility that hadn't burned off yet. They ended up to the West of Rekavik and crashed into the top of a plateau, believed that Gyro failure was the problem, after investigation showed previous problems with Gyro had occurred and trying to find the problem.
Thats one thing I miss about growing up there... the week of EAA... and watching all the planes flying over the farm... knowing how many planes was insane... never went to the EAA
You have the Very Rare Hand Painted Herend Huge Porcelain Hunting Eagle Figurine. Herend was founded in 1826 and have produced porcelain for the likes of Queen Victoria, Princess Diana, Rothschild's, and more. They are known to produce some of the best porcelain in the world and are the pride of the Hungarian porcelain industry. So to be awarded this from them is their way of honoring your skill of flight.
Man, you were in my neighborhood! I saw Mike out there tooling around from my house which is always cool. Even cooler knowing now that I was watching both of you out there! Hope you enjoyed the visit to Plymouth.
Mike an old friend and super guy. I've flown an Extra and it is beyond a doubt, the coolest aircraft imaginable. However, I can only handle about 15 minutes of serious aerobatics. It takes time to build up a tolerance.
3 year old in a toy store. Exactly how you sounded in his hanger and with great reason. Imagine sticking another 180 ponies into a plane you have constantly told us how fast it is. What a beautiful hanger full of shiny bits jimmy. I liked the blue plane but ALL were sweet. ❤❤❤
I watched Michael Goulian at the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow in Pensacola years ago. It was the first time I saw an airplane tumble end over end. I must admit it was without question my highlight of the entire airshow. His performance was unbelievable. My favorite aerobatic pilot.
I was lucky enough to fly the extra 330 years ago. I got around 800 hours in it. Such a fun aircraft and so easy to fly. I loved it and wish I still had one to go play in.
Mike landed at Lock Haven to refuel a few years ago, so I offered him a ride up town for some lunch. But, he had to leave right away. I should have told him I was going to pay. And Jimmy, now you owe Mike a ride in Elvis's Jetstar. Just don't let him have the controls or he might roll it.
Love these planes. I flew giant scale aerobatic RC planes in the 90's. My favorite was an Extra 230....It could hang on the prop and accelerate vertically...
I know I've said this before, but my Mom was an accomplished Aerobatics Pilot in the 60's. She was taught by a couple of WWII vets who literally put her through "pilot basic training". She went on to do very well, travelling all over the place for competitions. She spoke of doing those stunts and what it was like. It made me want to become a pilot, but unfortunately I've never had the opportunity. It's just too expensive where I live. I'm glad you had fun Jimmy! I won't be at all surprise to see you flying like that again. Would the Lance Air stand up to it, or is the G loading too high for it?
Wow I am sad. We were at the air show Tue - Thru, lucky to find a camp spot at all. (17000 campers!) On our way to door county, and missed out on this opportunity and meeting Jimmy. Maybe next year.
Many years ago the late Johnny Carson had the late Art Scholl as a guest on the Tonight Show. Johnny had accepted a ride with Art as he went through a shortened version of his airshow routine which prompted Johnny to say "I would have thrown up only I didn't know which way was up ! ! " 😂😂
In this video you sound like me when I had my aerobatic flight in a Bellanca. it is fun exciting and thrilling all at one time!!! Thanks for a great video!!!!🤪😝😁

Mike Goulian is my favorite aerobatic pilot!!! He is a world class talent and a super nice guy!
I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Goulian and chatted with him, what a true gentleman.
...........................Your reaction during the flight is.....PRICELESS !!!.......Thanks Mike
I have watched him at airshows for the past 20 years. That's so cool. Man I wish I could go to Oshkosh.

Any bets on how long till Jimmy buys himself a stunt plane ??!!
For real!!! How much fun is that thing!!!
When he recoups some money for buying the Elvis jet. Lmao
@@ThorntonWillie Yea, that may take a while.
Less than a year, my guess...
Knowing Jimmy, he probably bought one already! 🤣🤣🤣
How cool! Mike is so humble and hospitable. I love how he gives you instruction on where to look in order to really be able to appreicate the moves that you're experiencing in the air.

next time on Jimmys World: Jimmy buys abandoned Extra 300 and brings it back to live and opens an Aerobatics Club in Plant City
Wow… how cool. And good luck to all the citizens at OSH
This is one of my favorite videos now ! Jimmy's joy was so infectious I couldn't stop laughing or smiling. He was as giddy as a little kid with a brand new puppy !

AWESOME Mike and Jimmy... Oh yeah ! Jimmy you are so lucky to have flown that gorgeous Extra.
That was awesome!!! Great idea to collaborate on this. Someone is going to be very lucky!
I never knew he grew up around here. My grandfather flew out of Lawrence Airport for years. What a small world
Great interview Jimmy! This is great for GA
Mike is one of the nicest guys in the business.
Met him a few different times.
That was just the coolest thing ever! Jimmy, yer Da man! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Ok, I would have spewed everywhere in the plane, that would be before it left the ground knowing what would be happening in the sky.. 😂
Amazing video, thank you Jimmy and Mike!
Jimmy, your noises made the show! Nice work.

Thats one thing I miss about growing up there... the week of EAA... and watching all the planes flying over the farm... knowing how many planes was insane... never went to the EAA
Amazingly clean and shiny floor, carpets under the wheels. Wow! What about the other great planes????

I love the paint color scheme.
Great Airplane
Phenomenal Pilot
Hat-Tip Mike Goulian
Pretty cool seeing KPYM, Mike Goulian, and Jimmy all at the same place.
Man, you were in my neighborhood! I saw Mike out there tooling around from my house which is always cool. Even cooler knowing now that I was watching both of you out there! Hope you enjoyed the visit to Plymouth.
I'm jealous!!!!😂 The best seat to watch an airshow from is in the air.
This guy is crazy! 10G's! Someone is going to have fun at the airshow! Good luck!
Mike an old friend and super guy. I've flown an Extra and it is beyond a doubt, the coolest aircraft imaginable. However, I can only handle about 15 minutes of serious aerobatics. It takes time to build up a tolerance.
Jimmy that was one great video ❤❤❤❤ you pilots are a different breed for sure. Love it.
What a great video! Mike really is a professional!!!

Volunteering at Oshkosh was the most rewarding and fun experiences in my life. Go 439 south maintenance
"Yes, Thank you very much!" 😅
That was insanely great flying, love flying specially stunts. Boy looks like you had a blast.
Go Jimmy’s world !
I watched Michael Goulian at the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow in Pensacola years ago. It was the first time I saw an airplane tumble end over end. I must admit it was without question my highlight of the entire airshow. His performance was unbelievable. My favorite aerobatic pilot.
Good morning from Minnesota!! Outstanding!! See you at Oshkosh!!
I was lucky enough to fly the extra 330 years ago. I got around 800 hours in it. Such a fun aircraft and so easy to fly. I loved it and wish I still had one to go play in.
Michael really is good at PR! His enthusiasm is incredible.
Crazy awesome opportunity! Stay safe!

Mike seems like a really great guy! What a fun time that would be. I could never go on that ride though. Not these days anyway.
🛑🛑 Jimmy…I think the question has to be asked…
“Why did Mike wear his Helmet, and you got a Headset”??😂
Pretty Cool Adventure!
👍😀
Oh boy Jimmy! That airplane is beautiful but I would rather watch than be in the plane doing rolls! I love your excitement with the airplane!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
THAT WAS AWESOME JIMMIE🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Man what a trip... Even on UA-cam this was fun, thanks for sharing 🤯
If you mount the intercooler vertically, it will give you more room for the rad with less cutting.
Absolutely phenomenal!!!.
Yahoo - see you at Osh!
Funny I watch all all his vids and I've never even been close to a plane let alone flew in one lol
What a fantastic guy !!
I may not be able to ride in the plane, but the cam shots sure can seem like you're in the plane. Awesome. 👌😉👍
Love these planes. I flew giant scale aerobatic RC planes in the 90's. My favorite was an Extra 230....It could hang on the prop and accelerate vertically...

Jimmy...you need to take you're Lance Air and throw a turbo prop on it...😅...enough BTU's to twist the airframe
Awesome Bro! Nice job.
Wow I am sad. We were at the air show Tue - Thru, lucky to find a camp spot at all. (17000 campers!) On our way to door county, and missed out on this opportunity and meeting Jimmy. Maybe next year.
I kid you NOT Jimmy !
😮 there was a red bull plane that lost a wing and pilot effortlessly landed the fucken thing ! Is that insane?
Make sure that the person who wins this ride can take the aerobatics without throwing up. That’d be me. But not everyone is able to handle it. 😊
Many years ago the late Johnny Carson had the late Art Scholl as a guest on the Tonight Show. Johnny had accepted a ride with Art as he went through a shortened version of his airshow routine which prompted Johnny to say "I would have thrown up only I didn't know which way was up ! ! " 😂😂

Great episode!
Jimmy, didn't you buy a Taylorcraft recently? They can be great fun aerobatic planes if you clip the wings. Not an Extra, but they fly great.
Excellent stuff bro
Mike is a radical push the envelope kind of guy, Jimmy Sky King.
That looks like fun!
Jimmy you don't have boring life that is for sure.
I believe Cameron has had his fun status knocked down a couple pegs.
I think Jimmy should start with a Decathlon
So flippin' cool!!!
Mike Goulian and rob Holland 2 of my hometown heros both from my area and based out of as well its amazing i wish both of them would perform together at Peas AGN airshow in september here in NH
I'm telling you straight up I would have lost everything doing that. 😂
