Yes, seems about the same overall. It's a bit hard to tell exactly what's going on here with the sped up video, throttle adjustments and telemetry numbers skipping when reception is weaker. If you have FPV gear, maybe just do the same test as I did, that is, fly straight and level in FBWA with constant throttle, gradually lowering throttle until altitude is not sustainable. Also remember that power is voltage * current, not just current. Some of my launches are around 250W, cruise is usually 90W. My biggest question would be.... where did the extra 600 grams come from :p Your extra gear that I don't have is a pan-tilt mount, telemetry module, strobe light and wing extensions, right? Maybe nose-wheel too... does that stuff weigh 600g?
That also my biggest questions why my weight are too far from yours, but for the information added with the extended will cost us 275grams extra weight (with more longer of the spar) and also i laminate the entire body which cost is 45grams, the rest? I will investigate it later

Interesting comparison. I am doing something similar with a Nano Talon with wings extended to 1080mm (860mm stock). I have flown it but not done a proper test of efficiency yet. It only has stock motor and prop. I think if I add larger 18650 battery (4S2P), I will need to increase motor/prop size.
@@benznote2342 21700 is a good alternative. I was just thinking to double batter capacity and use 18650. We know it can handle 21700 already :). I do have some 21700 that I could use to test though!
@@NoFlyDrone Ah sure the original size will still can fly alright with the 21700, but can fly it doesnt mean meat the ideal efficiecy with the weight, thats why when we expand the wing, that might back to the ideal efficiency like we used 18650 battery size And oh dont forget to showing us how you expand the wing, i might to copy that one too 😊

Perhaps your results would have been even better with sunny skies and low humidity, instead of the soup you fly in on this day?
