I kept getting Chihiro, so I also just kept leveling her up. lol And in A, the only one I have is Laurel and Rebecca- and both still purple too, so I haven't prioritized them yet. 😢 From here and the comments, I realized most heroes in my core rn are prob heroes old-time/veteran players will advise against..? Chihiro, Alisa, Coleman, Kin and Roland. My dps hard-carried by just Chihiro and Kin. Sometimes, I even do the accursed 0-faction buff by switching out Alisa with Quinn. Then again, I also really haven't PVPed, but they somewhat survived until 4-10: Chihiro 45, Kin 40, Quinn 35 and the rest 30. Most orange except Chihiro at yellow- yes, she loves me that much. I used to really love Kin, but not so much after a few battles. Since his talent hits randomly, the damage gets spread out.. so you could only hope enemies can't burst you down fast or your front-liners are tanky- he's good for clearing if only a few enemies are left. He's still staying though, because he's one of the few I had high ranked- still orange, but I think I can get higher esp with the 7-day log-in (and with this, I think he can get better after ranking and finishing his gear). I'm still only at day 4 or so, so I lacked a bit. Since I don't spend, I'm really hard-capped by only what gacha luck or events give me, so I only level those who I could rank so far. But I'm also starting to get skeptical who to level past 40/45, so I'm now looking for tier lists- to see who to prioritize more, at least for the heroes I do have. And LOL, most I have are C-tier. Then again, ig you really can't expect free stuff to be completely broken
Hey, sorry for the very late reply here. I have been away from UA-cam for a bit for family stuff. Since I made this video, a lot of things have changed, especially with the introduction of zombie queen and combat gadgets. And you are in luck, Chihiro has a decent gadget now for early seasons. There are some strong players on my server who are running a lineup with her, benson, and koba since they all have gadgets and work well together. We are heading into season 4 and she probably won't be replaced in their lineup until season 5 when we get Heytex. If you happen to get lucky recruiting Roger, he might be better than Chihiro at high rank but Chi will be much easier to get to a higher rank. For recruitment, the best things i can recommend are the minigames, especially NATE game. When you can consistently beat it, you get a LOT of faction cards. I am finishing this season with over 600 of them, mostly from the minigames. For blue chips, the helicopter, champion duel, and gathering Personal Armaments Race are some of the best places to get those. I skip the daily recruitment and only recruit for Alliance Duel. This way i can save for the first week of the new season when new heroes have a higher chance of recruiting from blue chips and faction cards. In season 0 you should still do your dailies until you unlock Alliance Duel. Then only recruit on recruitment day. Skipping daily recruitment saves you about 50,000 blue chips a season to use when you have the higher chance for new heroes.
Kelly is much more powerful than you give her credit for. She focuses on low AGI heroes, which are usually high damage dealers in your opponents back row. Taking them out quickly should be your primary concern. Quinn is also very strong in the early seasons, but she gets overpowered quickly after S1. Coleman is a fairly good tank and you should be able to ascend him to mystic 3 stars much quicker than Roland, Harman, Bolton, or Enrique. Betty is actually pretty good for a 4 skill hero. Get her to mystic 3 stars and use her for her “Turning Tide” skill. Maxing that skill out will help Kelly take out back row opponents before they can take out your weaker heroes. If your recruitment days are like mine, Laurel will be low level for a looooooong time. She’s awesome in a lineup with Kelly and Rebecca, but only if you can get them ascended to legendary or higher.
Hey, thank you for the feedback! I think Kelly is a great hero for early game! Her and Rebecca are possibly the best early game heroes for exploration and expedition specifically because they target 1 backline hero with high damage so they can often 1 shot an enemy with their abilities. This is why I put them in the A tier (S tier and A tier are who i highly recommend using if you get the shards). Both are however very easily countered in PvP by enemies leaving their tanks at lower level and leaving armor and helm at level 1 to keep agi low. For season 0 and 1, I do recommend using them if you get enough shards so that you can get very high level in exploration and get lots of memento from it (check out my exploration guide) however all of the strongest players will likely be doing the tank trick to shut down your Kelly and Rebecca before the end of season 0. I still use them because I choose lots more memento coins over having a slightly better pvp lineup and I will switch to pvp when my main lineup reaches level 100. The only reason Kin is the only S tier is because you get him in an event very early and you get him from alliance shop every week. So players who cash in on that will likely have kin much higher rank than their other elite heroes. Quinn has the roll chance of the rarest heroes in season 0 and 1 and out of those super rare heroes, she is arguably the weakest. I do highly recommend ranking her up and maxing her 5th ability and using her for zombies and mutated zombies though. Coleman and Betty have a similar strong downside to Lunn and Irma as they can be good in season zero as you can rank them very fast however most players who try to rank up an uncommon or rare hero tend to find themselves without the shards to rank up their elite heroes of that faction. And I would say a yellow 2 or 3 star Advanced Elite tank is about as good as a 3 star mythic rare tank. You can get Harman there pretty quickly if you buy him from the alliance shop. I do agree that they can be good heroes in season 0 but I have seen a lot of players do that and not have shards to rank up their better heroes in season 1 because of it.
Happy to share and hope it helps! Feel free to comment if there is anything else you think could help new players and I will see what I can do about making a video for it.
It is because you can get him in the alliance shop so he will be top rank long before other heroes unless you are very lucky or spend a lot of money. Later in the game other heroes will be better but not likely in season 0.
That is very true. I do mention in some of my videos to try not to change up builds too much because of the medals investment. You are right that Kin will have to be phased out once you get a good lineup of three Advanced Elite heroes strong enough to take his place but when he is 3 star mythic, that can take a couple of seasons unless you purchase recruitment points. Definitely skip kin if you are just buying your way to mythic advance elite heroes but I will admit, I don't tend to include strategies for people who are buying much more than Solari heroes and the passes. If free-to-play and low spend players farm for the nearly guaranteed 3 star mythic Kin in season 0, he will most likely be their best hero for season 0, one of their better heroes for season 1, and still good enough for a 2nd or 3rd truck for another season or two so I think he is well worth the alliance shop points and a few hundred medals to carry you through the early game.

To have kin above all those heroes in the second row tells me that people are getting bad advice here.

First like . seeko79
Thank you brother!
All i can say is invest only in 5 skilled heroes and leveled them up,kin is useless in upcoming seasons
