Way to go Dad , he will always remember when he helped his Father install headers on the big Harley Dyna . I gave up some torque for my 2 into 2 drag pipes which cost under $100 but sound terrific and have that nice rack back sound we all love . Loved the video .

I have this Danmoto on my 2002 Dyna with a stage IV kit. Took my old SE 2 into 2 with crossover off and installed the Danmoto. Now i have a huge dip in TQ from 2000rpm to 4000 rpm. At 2000 rpm i have 108 ft lbf and it drops to 88 ft lbf, and rises again between 3000 rpm to 4330 rpm at 120 ft lbf. 107 hp at 5000rpm. So at first glance, the top numbers seem ok, but you will lose extreme amount of TQ between 2000 and 3500 rpm with this Danmoto. I am lookin for an other 2 into 1 pipe with better TQ in the low to mid range.

We had it tilted a vew degrees up and in, coars it woulld hit the ground on righthand corners. It is the stainles black coated version. I was about to go this route but I really thought twice about it and decided to go with a S&S 2:1 and I’m glad I didn’t go cheap. Hope it works out for you
... about a month ago I looked on ebay (uk) and found a set of black 'Red Thunder' exhausts for my Dyna, they are stainless underneath this black ceramic coating shit - which goes grey staright away - and so I'll be stripping that off and polishing it to a chrome-like finish after it gets a bit more scratched I am sure. It was scratched but not damaged, just the paint... and the price of just £350 ( compared to the final price of over £1600 the original owner paid) made it seemquite a bargain as I don't like these cheapo chinese systems but if it works for you then good luck to ya ! Update today 17/August: looking at what you have there with the separate parts, you could easily modify the headers for length and/or style - make them with a bit of a kick-up before going into the collector and hey presto you have a top performing and unique system for maybe a third the price everyone else is paying for an 'identical' one.... way to go Dad !

Yea I really like how there mounted. Sometimes you gotta peek over the risers but never a problem seeing what I need to. Widen the holes on the speedo mount and it’ll bolt right to the stock headlight mount on the triple tree.
Thanks man! It’s not bad at all might be less heat than stock setup. Ground clearance wasn’t affected it still hits the foot peg before anything else! 👍🏻
I went through 2 mounts on mine in about 600mi. The one on it now has been holding together. My only beef is the muffler hitting my swingarm. I tried to readjust it, and space the bracket out and still hits it.
Yea I rarely replace the flanges only if there’s something wrong with them! Also the Oem Harley ones will always be better than most aftermarket. I use these pliers here from amazon. Stanley Proto J250G Proto 9-Inch Lock Ring Horseshoe Washer Pliers

joe wood right! Well the muffler is actually bolted to the bracket! So it’s pretty secure and the springs kinda keep the slack tight between the flange mounts and the muller bracket. If that makes any since lol.

I've put about 500 miles or more on my damnoto. How'd you get the baffles out? I take the screws off but I can't get the end cap off.. should I pry it?
Shit mine flew right of with the tip and whole baffles while riding on the fwy lol maybe try that out just try not to loose the tip because the company sold to someone in Japan and the two into one dan moto in Japan has no idea who it got sold to I've been trying to find the tip and baffle to replace for mine because I do love my da moto but it is what it is
@@jaydowney3661 I am sure they will, Ebay now has a Stainless and a Black version for sale at 250 - 275$. Please note they are for Softail but thats just a matter of fixing a lower bracket yourself which is no big deal really. Also note that the CO-sensor is pointing upwards,..if can you live with that you have an excellent 2-1 exhaust for a fraction of the price of other brands. Good luck Bro.

Two questions. Did you jet the bike or mess with the air/fuel mixture? And what paint color is that? Gunship grey?

Did you notice increase in performance?
Yes I actually did. Way more low end torque over the stock pipe.

I’m pretty sure it will you’ll just need sone plugs for the O2 sensors

The Two Brothers Custom 2-1 exhaust is too bloody expensive,..they are robbing you off when you can get almost the same on ebay for a thousand less !
