@@maipenraionyourthai1943 You should be embarrassed for being such a Negative Nancy about a band who were clearly fantastic. You obviously weren't around then or you would appreciate them more.
l was 21 back then when this song had come out wow, l even was wearing a sweet hog Jacket like they are wearing and now 2022 l am 54 and still listing to this song.
I spoke to David on phone a few years ago when he was in orange NSW he was performing at our Christmas chorals wanted to meet him face to face but my sister waited and told him about me lol
I see this song now and these guys were very tight, was never a fan then but have to say they have more musicality and polish than todays artist. And I dont know why but this is kind of the synth guitar combo i encourage my 3 young daughters to achieve. Props to the lads I namever liked back in the day.
Yep, and he was also successful in theatre as well as lead role in: the role of Joseph in the April 1993 Australian stage production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat/In June 1998 he acted as Marius in the Australian cast of Les Misérables etc
I once went to see David Dixon (lead singer) live in the theatre. He played Joseph, in "JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAM COAT". He's not very tall.
Flash back to a 13yr old girls dream boy band, guilty secret, 30 years and this is my first glimpse back, let's see ,David, Michael, Luke,I think, I can't even remember which one I forgot, I'm sure they aged much better than I did .x
This reminds me of my first trip to Australia, managed to get the CD single of it... and still have it now, cracking song, yeah a bit Bros, but it is a great catchy pop tune and I still love it.. where are they now?
Memories. I once saw Indecent Obsession play live. It was a Saturday morning in mid 1989. I was in the top floor of the Myer Melbourne store, browsing the video games. I saw crowds of teenage girls walking through to the rooftop carnival. When I went to investigate why, I discovered that Indecent Obsession were playing a free concert. I stayed for 10 minutes. I half liked the song Say Goodbye, but I decided that Indecent Obsession were a band for teenage girls.
The keyboardist Michael Sbuzmaski ended up becoming a producer and songwriter he was actually in the first Popstars series as the musical director on Bardot’s album on tour and in the studio back in 2000 and I believe David Dixon is still singing xx
i was a club dj when this was out and it's no surprise that hearing it now sucks as much as it did back then. it's consistently shit.... plastic imitation band with crap songs just like wa wa nee and the like.
I don't care what anyone says...this was awesome back in the day
The drummer is my cusin and when I play his music he gets imbarresed (love your Darryl)
Awesome ✌️
It still is!

I even saw them live during a South African tour. I was only
14, it was my first live concert. Good memories. It makes me laugh now, but I loved them!
Thanks Coles Radio for bringing this into 2022!!! 😅😅
We’ve been listening to Coles Radio in the office at work all week xx
i was 16 when this song was released in 1989 still cool and fun to listen to almost 33 years later.
The drummer is my cusin and he is a bloody legend still and I always play his songs to home and he gets embarrassed hahaha
He should be embarrassed. This band, song and video clip looks like some kind of elaborate joke.
No joke man 😎

The lead singer played likeable bad boy Nathan Roberts in Home and Away in the 90s. Back when Home and Away was good 😊

Brisbane boys ♥
Yeh playing it now
Classic 80's hit, The keyboard player has same vibe as Craig Logan in Bros
This song came up in the hits of 1990 mix on UA-cam it has definitely have me memories of trying to forget dumb shit
But it was a hit in 1989, So makes no sense!
I have obviously seen it on many 80's compilations as well, Even does say up the top 1989 single
This song gained cult popularity again some years ago when it was used in an indie film called "All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane".
Why is this not on Itunes? love this song.
Thanks, got it on itunes today :)

I love how the lead singer was wearing an Astro Boy shirt.Do you know if he still has that shirt?
Lee-Anne Macdonald David was flying helicopters on the Gold Coast a few years ago when I met him. Brilliant guy. Not sure bout the shirt tho 😀

Ha ha, yes!

Australia's version of BROS. My sister was fucking gaga over both boy bands back in the day.
Two words: Neighbours. Melanie.
Did the Neighbours character Melanie like Indecent Obsession? She was obsessed with another band called Go 101.
@@scottmcphee2076 Yeah, she sung along (tone-deaf style-e) to the song in a store at a listening post in one ep.
