Today, I test drove the Gen 3 Ather 450X in various scenarios.
Video Timeline -
3:19 - Scenario 1 - Under 50 Kmph without Regenerative Braking
5:36 - Scenario 2 - 50-69 Kmph without Regenerative Braking
8:19 - Scenario 3 - Under 45 Kmph with Regenerative Braking
Kms driven - 48.8
Charge used - 40%
Efficiency - 27.8 Wh/km
Projected Range - 116.5 Kms
The range of any EV depends on a lot of factors, like - Load, Road conditions (incline and declines), Weather, Temperature, Your riding style (Acceleration and Braking), Tyre Pressure etc..
If everything is ideal, you will get the maximum range 😊 Tips for best range -
1, Go easy on the throttle (Slow and Steady)
2, Use Regenerative Braking for slowing down and while going down hill
3, Maintain proper tyre pressure
4, Try to maintain the same speed
5, Choose the route with less inclines (if possible)
6, Gain enough speed and momentum before you climb a hill
7, Keep the belt and motor clean

my weight is 88 kg and i ride ather in ride mode in mixed road condition..85 km was the projected range when i start the journey... i travel in a speed range of 58-62 kmph like i ride my normal bike..... the final projected range after completing the journey of 76 km was around 91 km
Projected range is just an approximate. Check the efficiency shown on the screen and calculate on your own.

i have faced one issue...my charger lock wont release after around 3 hrs of charging...2 times some how released after swicthing on and off the key... third time charger headinde lock cheyyunna protion potti poi... i informed the showroom people.

Dot has water resistance and more cable length compared to portable charger. PC is smaller. It can be easily carried around. Dot can also be used as a portable one. It will fit into the boot.
