Excellent device for the money. Bought 2 5Gb versions and will probably buy 1 more in the next few days. For those who have reported it doesn't work with a Mac (not MAC btw), I don't know what you are doing wrong because these drives work fine with my iMac. The backup software that comes pre-installed is windows only but if you really want to back up your Mac you should be using time machine anyhow. For those complaining about drive size not being an actual 5Gb, when formatted for a Mac is is exactly 5Gb. Reformatt your drive in windows and you should get the same, assuming windows moves their HDD sizing to 1000mb = 1Gb vice 1024mb = 1Gb. This disparity has been around for years and is the fault of drive manufacturers and OS makers to agree on how to size this stuff. Apple changed a few years ago and now drives show as the advertised size.
