This one tutorial has taught me so much about character animation in AE and boosted the quality of my graphic videos for my clients exponentially. Just want to say a massive thanks from me for making this!
Waow what a coincidence, i'm just in the middle of a character animation project and i didn't have the time to rig everything. This saves my day, thanks Sonducks!!
Valuable material, but I advise against using puppet pin with vectors and AI files - not only does it consume memory, it can generate a lot of errors. It is definitely better to export files to PNG.
if i put puppet pin on a vector file and precomp it. it will not be as crisp as it should be, it gets blur and toggling raterize option just destroys the layer, any idea about this ?
Have you tried rasterize the layer before using the puppet pins? Also if that doesnt work, under "Mesh 1" experiment with the Expansion. If you the layer is getting destroyed u can try increase that. See if it worked! (im still kinda new into this but im learning aswell)
@@SonduckFilm Can you try that ? because I am unable to find the ans on internet. You just use the puppet pin on a character. animate the way you want and then just precomp it and turn on the the rasterize and pls check if you face the same issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi Harshal, I'm not sure. I have not experienced that before.
