tiny update on youngk! he's now the most copyrighted jype artist and the 8th most copyrighted idol (komca), he has posted a ton more demos on day6's youtube channel and has made two seasons of "young one" covers! he left idol radio but he's now the host of dekira (day6 kiss the radio)! he also has a lot of collabs with other artists, they're very worth checking out!
also idk if you know about that but "even of day" (youngk, wonpil and dowoon's unit) will have their comeback on july!!

During their debut (2015) to early 2017, i used to call him Brian bc he looks so 'Brian' to me idk why 😂 but from 2017 until 2020, i call him Young K without i realised bc during those time, his aura suits 'Young K' more instead of Brian. But now i call him Younghyun more bc he just become more fluffy and cuter nowadays plus his personality changed too and Younghyun kinda fits him more for me 😂

I usually call Young K officially but he has way too many nicknames so I use them in different contexts.

The fandom jokes:
Sungjin: Jae calls him Bob cuz he looks like Bob the Builder because of the nose. He also adopted it as a nickname and uses it as his handle on twitter also cuz Bob sounds like food in Korean and he likes recommending food.
Jae: Chicken Little. Well he used to look like Chicken Little. He doesn't anymore tho. Dude aged like fine wine.
Young K: People know him as Brian since his trainee days so everyone who knew him before debut calls him Brian and they had a hard time adapting to Young K... esp Jae and Sungjin. The fans started calling him Brian as well and that's why he used to say "Who's Brian?" He has since accepted being called Brian but the fans have also since accepted Young K. Yayy happy ending.
Wonpil: He bought an expensive hot pink sweater. It actually looks okay but Jae hated it. (He's responsible for 60% of these jokes)
Dowoon: He introduced himself in English as Drum... and Jar further perpetuated this by calling him Drum moving forward... so make it 80%

You have got a lot of mvs left. As it said in this video, throughout 2017 they released two songs and one mv every month. And there are other mvs besides that also. im glad you found day6, they're my favorite band and I actually saw them live in 2019. Stanning them is literally the best decision ever^_^
in "i'll try" (the harmony from the guide) Dowoon actually sings one octave lower than Young K... the lowest part is sung by Jae
You should absolutely go to their concerts! I went to DAY6 in Amsterdam in 2019 and 2020 (last concert before lockdown) and their live performances are even better than videos! They flex their music and vocals in new ways every time. Look up done live videos from their world tour, you will not believe it! Best concerts ever! I also recommend watching a video that UMU from React to the K made for YoungK. He is her favorite vocalist in all of kpop and I cried watching the video where she shows why.

I'm so excited for you to learn more about them; they are so talented and goofy, they deserve so much love.
Sidenote: Because so many of them are multi-instrumental they inspired me to try out different instruments whenever I could (Right now I am in the music program at my school for marching and concert & I've been part of band for 7 years now). Now I can play clarinet, bass clarinet, alto-sax, do things in percussion and conduct though my band director has me at tuba as my main for marching and concert and I go to percussion every once in a while during concert season.
