Hi Steven. A lot of the detail that needs adding to complete the hull, I’m going to fit of camera. Build the USS Hawaii. And be ready to start adding the mast come January
Hi John, nice little detail jobs! The carronades came out rather well if they were the kit version. Originally when I saw these in the instructions I thought they looked a bit awkward but yours look very nice. I bought the Woody's version for mine! The stove chimney is very nice! Yes a little hidden reinforcement for the deck detail saves possible breakage later!!! 😉
Thank you Johnny. Both the carronades and chimney are both from woodys model works. Great upgrades. I’ve got to restore my 20 year old HMS bounty, at same point And all the pins rail have come unstuck from the rigging. So that was My thanking with the reinforcement
Much more satisfying than being able to add pieces to a complicated puzzle for which you personally crafted each part. And each part is a little hand crafted work of art. I’m off the make breakfast quite satisfied that the start to my day has been magnificent but first, I’m going to watch the video again. LOL
Thank you luis. Part 85 will be the last video for a month or so. But that means I will have a full build of the USS Hawaii for you to enjoy in December. Thank you for your t support
You are going fast John, and i see some very good ideas for my second Victory build that i am working on at this very moment. I am close to finishing the hull.
I’ve added a lot in the last 2 months Ron, but I’m going to have a break now, and work on my USS Hawaii. And come back in the new year ready for the rigging
@@Johnbuildsiconic i can relate to that. when i complete the hull of my second Victory build i will return to my A. Vespucci build. In between i will do the last bit of detailing on my first Victory build. It is my intention as well to start the Rigging of the first build but i want to do it together with the rigging of my A. Vespucci builds to get in the "flow".
Hey John good work hey I got a quick question I’m getting ready to do the chain rails and the Deadeyes and gunports and lids. My question is what did you put on first the gunk port lids in the ropes going up all the chain rails thanks for your help
Wow amazing sir john HMS VICTORY

Same with mr.john keep spirit for the ship
Another great montage John, it looks like you are getting pretty close to begin installing the masts. I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Sorry dick, add the gun port lids first, it’s so hard to add them after the deadeye chain links

@@Johnbuildsiconic Yes, I did the same with my Bounty using brass pins. I thought your carronades looked tidy so that explains it!! Good job! JH
