  • "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you."
We're all familiar with this commandment from Jesus, but as believers, how many of us are actually walking it out day-to-day? How do we TRULY become a disciple of Jesus? There are three things we MUST learn to do.

A true brother from another mother. The Lord gave me this concept of making disciples in the power of 12. Imagine if just 12 people in your church did not stop attempting to make new disciples until they won 12 who agreed to make 12 in like manner. Then those 144 do the same, then those 1728 do the same, so on and so on. This is how revival happens. And this is how the burden is light because everyone's load is always just 12. And we GET to eventually do more than 12! But, be like Jesus and don't rush past the pace of equipping grace, that empowers your first batch of 12 to equip others. Amen!

Exactly. Jesus passes it to You. You pay it Forward, and that person does the same. Without sharing the Gift of of God's Truths. We cannot follow Jesus, or be a Deciple. Unless we continue Growing ourselves. By Teaching others of what we ourselves have learned. We've been studying about this at the Church I go to.

The ''knowing'' resonates so much. 13:40 hits it. That's exactly what I've been learning and experiencing lately. The knowing intellectually is one part, maybe even the start but not nearly enough. The true ''knowing'' is deeper, beyond logic but in our spirit and our heart. It's like when someone asks ''how do you know when you're in love?"..... You just KNOW. That's what He wants for us and with us.

I never miss. Most of the time I watch the same episode 7 times to make sure I have retained it. It just doesn’t make sense. If that is the text then how did they trade the privilege to pastor as the privilege of perversion?

I am having a hard time with this. I believe that you are speaking truth. I just wasn’t raised in a Mega Movement Pastor Dad that in anyway defended me. How can I forgive an offense that they don’t recognize? My Dad is apart of the silent generation, loyal to employers not family. Yet he was a pastor? How do I forgive what he ignores?

I’m sorry to hear that was your experience with a father that didn’t understand you.
This might not be an easy answer: when I get frustrated one someone doesn’t recognize their wrongdoings, I say, “forgive them for they know not what they do!”
Some people and even pastors are not good at Emotional Intelligence and compassion. They don’t know what they don’t know.
