well a few reasons,there good for shallow water because regular outboards cant travel shallows and and duckhunting is mostly shallows down there and they just like having fun messing around,where I live you only realy need a regular outboard or jet drive but rarely!
please excuse my ignorance but just why do you need these is it for duck huntin or what i am in indiana and this is the first i have ever seen such things
