- This is the first episode in a custom progression Space Engineers series. This let's play will focus on goals and achievements as motivation for progression. Vanilla progression has been reworked such that the use of helmet, pack thrusters, and other vanilla features will be disabled at start and "earned" as the playthrough progresses.

Oooh this looks interesting great stuff few to many edits but otherwise still a fun watch. The ATV is a cool design the old farming tracker paint job had me wondering what kind of series i was watching at first 😅

I kid up not, I almost have my mod ready for release. It literally is the respawn method you're imposing. I dub it "CryoRespawn". It not out yet but should be out in the next two months.

ok, really neat. this is is really giving me some design ideas that i'm drawing out on paper and only need a more powerful computer to actually try (steamdeck lacks a lot of the computer resources to play it well)

@@beardedmojo space engineers is one of a handful that i can literally spend weeks playing. i'm an engineer (un trained and uneducated but one none-theless) and seeing some of the interesting ideas you have gives me more ideas to try. now why can't space engineers, and my steamdeck get along?
The only thing that keeps it stable on the deck (for me at least) is running windows via external storage, dropping resolution to 720, and running on low. I'll keep messing around with the settings until I can hit a fine balance of looking and playing well.
Can we have more singing from BeardedMojo and the Beardies again? I enjoyed that segment 😉

There is a Mod Called "Helmet Malfunction (No Helmet)" that locks your helmet open.
