I started watching you back in 2014, I was ending 8th grade and entering my freshman year of highschool. Now I'm a first year University student and your videos have helped a ton. Keep it coming Satchell :-)!
I was recently introduced to your videos by a friend and man, I haven't been more excited to watch every single video in a UA-camr's catalog. This is some of the most enjoyable and personally relatable content I've watched on UA-cam in years. Just wanted to say thank you.
it took me way too long to learn to plan like you talk about here, but im happy to say im a month and 8 days into keeping a planner where each week i write down what needs to be accomplished on each day and i follow it like a to-do list each day. keeps my anxiety in check because i am no longer in a state of wondering if i should be doing something. I accomplish my tasks for the day and try to stay calm and present once im done. as a musician, it has been a major help to schedule practice sessions into each day. this has saved me from an old vicious cycle of low self worth when I would go days without practicing and feel like a failure. cheers for the video, im glad to hear someone talking about this. its probably the single easiest way to get your life back on track, and now that the train is rolling theres no way i could go back to living without goals and a schedule.
Scheduling has always been a huge challenge for me. My first purchase of this year was a Happy Planner. If determination and stickers can’t keep me on task then nothing will! (PS excellent advice, I shall be binging all of these now thank you)
You introduced me to Explosions in the Sky years ago in your video about Gone Home and I've never subscribed to you? I apologize and shall rectify this poste haste.
Kinna confused about 2:07, words seems tah contradict text. I'm assumin' text is de intention. Appreciate dis nu direction ya tryin', at de very leas, it's somethin' tah contemplate. Glad tah see de Hobonichi Tencho/Planna' gettin' a shoutout as well.
Great advice, but your effects and editing felt super distracting in this video. Especially the flipping logo and the non-stop fog machine in the corner- like what the fuck was that?
I can't overstate how great the into to these videos are, let alone the content
