4:41 What a kickin' cone Shovelhead -- love that two-into-one exhaust ("Dirty Biker" pipes from Paughco?). That's one bruisin' Ironhead Sporty -- nothing crazy, tight dimensions -- great stance! All the best, Garrett!
We live in Orange County, Buena Park specifically. But our prayers go out to LA county! Thank you for checking in though, we appreciate it! Our hearts go out to those facing these trying times in LA county
Last bike I picked up was at 11pm. Started it and took off into the night, the guy I got it from was like you’re fucking crazy. Best 1500 I payed in a while.
With my old 74 ironhead , i would lean the bike to the carb side , crank the throttle a few times till gas dripped out the carb , back on the kick stand , then kick it over , never flooded that way , always started , well mostly, lol
"Sportster knee" is a thing. Just make sure the kicker is engaged before you kick. I've only hyperextended my knee a couple times on mine, but it hurts when you do it.
I picked up a Jeep Liberty for $2800 drove 40,000 miles and sold it for $900 because it no longer had heat. Then bought a proper old full sized van. Jeep dome lights decided not to turn off anymore but painters tape reduced the annoyance to a gentle blue mood lighting. Problem solved
We have tools and everything! Just forgot them, we realized more than halfway through the drive! With Garrett just moving to Cali, he forgot to bring his tools with him to pick up the bike!
your mate should just get some red celuloid/plastic sheet n tape it to the interior lights or change the bulbs to red ones..... he gonna do much to the bike or leave as is?
Bikes like these are treasures, the richness comes from the history, I consider this a rescue
GREAT SCORE ON THE BIKE!!! Especially with the history of that bike!
Great time watching you guys work on that bike. That's one sweet bike. Also, enjoyed the laughs.

It’s proly the headlight switch assembly since it’s together with the dome light override and the cluster dimmer

What does something like this roughly sell for in the usa?
It all varies on which part of the US you’re in. In Southern California expect about $2k higher than anywhere else in the states 😭😂
It's the dimmer switch replace that with a new one or pick n pull
