- It was one of the most lethal airplanes of WWII...the P-38 Lightning. Stacey takes a look at what made it so unique and why the German army nicknamed it the "Forked tailed devil". But, the legend didn't end in the 1940's...it continues on as Stacey showcases the new P-38 engine parts from Jon Kaase that you can put on your small block Ford to make it run like greased lightning! After that, Stacey sits down with Rock and Roll legend and certified car nut, James Burton, to dig into the unique connection between cars, guitars, and Rock and roll. Turn it on...crank it up...and hold on!
What a beautiful iconic engine. 💯🙌✌️
My greatest failure was when I totaled my 73 mustang mark 1, this was in 1973. I have always wanted to buy a old mustang fast back around 70 to 73.
But my true dream was to own my uncle's 1955 Thunderbird, in 1969 my aunt was in the Thunderbird and was heading to town in the rain, a guy ran her off the road and she lost control of the car and ran head on into a telephone pole and it fail right onto the car.
Anyway it was totaled but my uncle bought it back and restored it but he put a 429 that was blown 40 over and that car ran so fast it amazed me. By the way my uncle bought the car brand new from the dealer in 1955. It had over 500 horsepower and i was in it when he got it over 140 mph. I was stuck to the seat from the beginning. It got me into cars and hot rods.
I love classic cars and 1960 to 73 rock and roll music this very day.
Hope i didn't bore you all but I love classic cars. All of them.
59 Caddy that is the BOMB of cruisers for me! the profile with those long sexy fins twin bullet type tail lights classic look. Damn that's a pretty car!!!
It was the first prop powered airplane to break the sound barrier
Just use Cleveland Pistons that's what guys were telling me to use in a Windsor if your running Cleveland cylinder heads do to the Canted valves.
