Well that was fun. According to some guy on Fish Brain, that fish is a 1 in 1000 chance of happening. A year later I've caught a couple dozen of these fish so I'm thinking they're not as rare as I thought.

hey man any tips on layton lakes? been there twice and the first time no bites and the second time i finally got one after 2 hours and it snapped my 8 lb line

@@azfishingproductions i’ve only ever caught one catfish there and only a few bass. Just throw corn and bread out on lighter line, like 4 pound to 8 pounds. Try to use no bigger than a size 4 hook and the less weight the better. If you get nothing then move spots, Layton Lakes is very big and sometimes some of the spots aren’t producing a lot of fish so if you can’t seem to catch any doing that then try to find another spot to fish within the lakes
