EDIT: I forgot Evelynn in the 1-cost tier list by accident. I believe she's B-tier. I've seen her do well, but she gets even harder countered by Nami than Olaf / Yasuo. Olaf is tankier than her with better sustain while Yasuo does more single target damage (plus has the option of reroll). EDIT 2: Gnar is S-tier in the 2-cost category. Really strong and hard to kill unit before Stage 4. Patch 14.1 was a big one! Hope you are climbing well. I've had some fun this patch so far, although it does feel relatively inflexible (despite the number of viable comps). Might try 1-tricking Yasuo at some point for fun since I think he's currently underexplored.
just did my first yasuo 3 game in masters, could've went first if i positioned differently but woo he's nice. saw him at a 4.10 on tactic tools too so ik those stats don't lie lol.
@@aarontaglucop4147 just place random units one side corners, like dummy or tentacles of illaoi, on the corners so akali dont target your tf, i just place tf on mid while lulu or gragas on corners, and karthus only attack certain amount of units place sona so she can heal
I really like how you have the core units and the flex units so it helps us understand what units we ALWAYS have to play and the others that can swap depending on headliner, traits, etc.
I've been hooked since the reroll Samira vid, your videos are amazing. You have made me a far better player with all your instructional videos. Please never stop!
Love the vid as always. Regarding the Too Big to Fail comp I noticed the stats on it were insane last patch so i have played it a few times and it's really just bruisers + any reasonable 1-2 unit somewhat AOE backline so while TF is best currently don't be afraid to slot in a big shot headline Ez or lucian + cait or even worst case karthus and kayle for pentakill as the bruisers exploding do a majority of the work in blowing up comps and u just need some additional damage to finish them off. It caps best around Jhin 2 since it stalls amazingly for him and there's no worry about hypertanks or carries surviving a stacked up Jhin. Edit: Forgot to mention it's amazing for outplay potential cause u can do lots of positioning tricks to get units to clump around a supertank illaoi or zac, the weaker bruisers at fight start and get chunked by their death explosions, or luring melee carries to certain spots, organising unit clumps elsewhere for crash test dummies or largest clump targetting etc. It is extremely flexible in frontline positioning allowing reasonable outplay to all but the most giga capped boards.
Twin terrors is actually disgusting. I got to play it for the first time. I queued up a game immediately after watching this video and got twin terrors 1 at 2-1.
Hey man, I know you're just starting to really grow your channel, but this is top-tier TFT content. Keep it up! By far the best, most informative guide to the patch.
I'd love to see a direct comparison between Shojin and Adaptive on units like TF and Karthus, to me it feels like Shojin should generate more mana in most cases and I dont think the few extra stats on Adaptive make it that much better in late game.
So if you have 0 attack speed items, on average, higher tier units have around .75 attack speed. This converts to 1.33 seconds per auto. Two autos with shojin grants 10 mana and takes around 2.66 seconds. That’s 12% better than adaptive helm. It’s not bad if you want to streak and that’s what you’re given.
@@holycrapdude123thanks for the stat info!! It is worth considering that adaptive helm also gives other stats and that might be useful in this AP heavy meta, but shojin is definitely a competent option for slamming! and saving the magic protection component could help build better frontline items...
I think the point is that helm is just a better item overall, you can slam it in early game and put it on a tank you are going to sell anyway, i think its just a matter of item flexibiljty cuz from mana gen shojin is miles ahead
@@dthlight I would only slam early or mid game to get a streak going. Half of the Shojin users have some sort of attack speed modifier, so Adaptive is only an alternative for karthus/vex. But streaking early and getting to 9 to build strong two start legendaries is more important than bis items. You can still win with adaptive on carries like TF
kda7 is really good against karthus and TF because of raw stats, also you can have headliner, neeko, ahri, akali (KDA>=superfan>other) so there is some flexibility. About the emo annie, dude, poppy dont give a fuck about anything, the upgrade from superfan to emo frontline is night and day, super good
Twitch buff is crazy, my highest win rate comp is punk emo and punk 7country (only if i got spatula). From 9 play, all punk country win 1st place and punk emo 2 4th place, 3 2nd and 2 win 1st place.
B-tier, sorry ... I swapped her last second and forgot to put her back into image. She was A-tier, saw her as quite strong in certain spots ... but she fares even worse than Olaf / Yasuo into Nami early game which I think greatly hurts her viability.
Tactics tools for finding the stats, metatft for displaying the items (although Meta TFT has stats for specific comps too, but I have the advanced explorer for Tactics Tools which is the best for finding this info - requires a Patreon sub though).
This patch is not as good as last one. You either go disco tf or some reroll comp. Last patch had reroll, ahri, ezreal and cait as decent options. disco dazzler was okay last patch if you highrolled and true damage was good with spats. Less options means this patch is not as fun.
Idk man this video is not it like im going into these games with this knowledge and its like wrong.. Annie is complete ass im following your guide. 6 bruiser is OP af u didnt even mention that. Olaf 3 can solo win a game. Like theres just so much misinformation in this. Some of the items u said are bad are good idk man u should delete this video and remake its misleading af.
I'm truly not trying to be mean, but your comment makes two things clear: 1) You didn't look at the chapters in the timeline below the video 2) You don't know what you're talking about and should refrain from giving other people TFT-related advice I'll explain once: Annie is in the "situational category" because she isn't as good as other comps (note the letter next to each comp in the chapters - S is the best, A is second best, situational is after). I did mention 6 bruiser in this video, but only with Too Big to Fail because that's the condition you should use to play it. Olaf is viable this patch, but not broken by any stretch of the imagination. The fact you think it's broken suggests you are playing in lower elo where worse comps are regularly viable. On the topic of items: The tier list is misleading if all you do is look at the image without any commentary. I understand this is a shortcoming of the video and for that I apologize. The items in C-tier are Situational, not unmakeable. In fact, not a single item in the game is unmakeable with the right spot. AD Flex, for example, is strong if you can play 5 Heartsteel stage 4 which then makes almost all of the items in C-tier move to S-tier. If you want to improve, I highly recommend sticking to the best comps (the ones covered closer to the start of the video / the earlier video chapters) and not the later ones. If you want to verify the content of this video, you can check the videos of several players that are higher ranked than me: 1) Prestivent 2) Guubums 3) Frodan You'll find much of their advice is the same and it's not because we're copying each other, but rather because the meta is straightforward to understand. You can also verify it via websites such as Tactics Tools and MetaTFT. Good luck with your climb!
I watched the whole video bunnymuffins video is much better and explain things way better than you do sorry bro. The fact you keep telling I didnt watch the video is stupid because I watched it in full lol. And then proceeded to use what you said in game. @@GM_Blue

how about fast 8 ( aiming for 4 cost chosen like akali td, ap flex ( karthus/tf ), ad flex ( ez/cait) in this patch?

Are the items and champs ordered best to worst in their respective tiers as well? Great vid btw tryna hit diamond by the end of this set
Will we have a similar video to the Ahri Sentinel one?
So basically if you get twin terror stage 2-1 you hard force twitch reroll? Got it
