I can't wait! Super stoked watching the vid man. I was going to stay primarily south when I go in August but now I'm def headed up Central City way. Maybe we'll cross paths. Them X-terras are really capable, always liked them. Great drone shots BTW............................G
this trail was cooler than expected, i remember this day well! hard to pick a best area here though, you’ll have a good time anywhere. thanks for checking these out, see ya out there!
I love your videos. It's nice to get a first hand account before we try to tackle the trail blind. As luck would have it, you're doing a lot of the trails that we have in mind👍
awesome! the channel is a tool, use it! i built the channel to be exactly what i was looking for, based on comments i've been reading and making for a decade. i quickly realized why no one films this way but it was too late haha. no surprises on the trail, pretty regular vehicle to compare to mine, no fluff or filler, no commentary, just "here's what it is!" i love and watch MANY other channels but the night before a trail this is what i was looking for. have fun out there and thank you!
you should! this one was pretty fun without worrying about breaking anything, also a rare occurrence where i had a helper for the video. thanks again for watching these!
@@BRollOffroad Right? Ya I want to connect on a trek out there. Hit me up if you are ever planning a big one. Yer neck of the woods are some of the best. Cheers!
@@BRollOffroad Hollywood. I wheel Gorman, Jawbone, Johnson Valley and Big Bear Mostly. If your ever out this way we can rip it. But if you ever need rigs in yer convoy I got good gear and can usually design my time...
Are lockers needed? Just got my first 4x4 and want to take my daughter up there! I’m just rocking an XJ with 31” boggers and a 2” lift but not lockers or a winch yet.. Sweet video! 🤘🏻😷👍🏻
i didn’t use my locker but this thing has traction control with the brakes. the hardest spot is probably the loose rock from 7:00 - 8:00 but if you have good tread on the tires you’re probably good. the other major flex spots are my own doing and a different line would mellow them out a lot.
Lovely tracks, as usual !! Nice water crossings !! And the drone footage ... no words !!! amazing !! And you did it again, 11:42 a new poster to be printed, LOL. Cheers
Great video! I saw you while you were doing this, I was in a red LJ and told you I liked your videos. I was there earlier that week too with frontrange4x4.com, we cut the fallen tree you passed at 6:50, there's a video of it on my channel.
no way i'm glad i found you then, that was so cool to hear. no way about the tree! i took the corner and out loud was like "thank you someone." pretty weird i saw you earlier and didn't know it was you, then found you on the internet later by accident haha. this world gets smaller every day.
Thank you! I'm hoping to publish V2 within the next month or two, fixed a lot of the function / responsive issues and changed the entire layout. It's happening, as life allows.
nah, the fender liner bulges out in 2 places for no reason and i had to heat gun those and just push them in and they cool in the new position. they call it "the melt mod" on the xterra forums, very common easy one. pretty sure since i got the skinnies i didn't even have to do it but it was like 10mins.
@@blackjackshellac3886 yea i liked that truck, i've never done any paint work like i did in the topper before and i loved it. unfortunately over the course of a year i dealt with 3 different mechanics in 2 different shops who put in 2 clutches, 3 slave cylinders, 8 master cylinders and resurfaced the flywheel. i was still bleeding my clutch every 2-5 days. calling Ford only got me a: "bring it back to the dealer or try a new dealer." "try a new dealer? you think i should go give a THIRD place $1,800 to do the exact same thing and you think that'll fix it?" "yep." i gave up, ate the $4k i'd lost, lost another $4k on the sale and gave up on Ford forever after owning 3 of them. i was in the shop 2-4x a month, once my plates expired and i realized i'd been dealing with this crap for a year that was it.
Sweet trail
thanks for watching!

I really wanted to bring the drone up to Fordyce on our trip but wasn’t sure what to expect. Those shots of yours turned out great 👌🏼
looks so fun!
Awesome!! Going to Ouray in a few weeks...I can't wait
thanks! this is pretty far from Ouray but Ouray is much cooler haha. are you aware of the situation in San Juan National Forest right now though?
B Roll Offroad yea. I've been monitoring it....so far keep trails are open in the Ouray area...I hope it rains
Nice man! We're heading back up this weekend. Tried about 2 months ago and got stopped by snow
I man I wanna come out and wheel some of these tracks. Love that dirt...

Hey man! Are you gonna have the site back up soon? I really loved the concept of what you had going.

B Roll Offroad good shit things looks beefy with the new rubber
8:11 Sasquatch shelter?
not sure but my GF said she got creeped out halfway through taking pictures inside. no ghosts in the photos though
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That whole area is pretty haunted since it was all a big mine
I don’t care for foreign vehicles but I do enjoy your vids.
hey thanks! and you’re in luck, these are made in Tennessee!
B Roll Offroad I prefer watching the old Ford truck. 👍

Too bad domestic vehicles aren’t as reliable anymore
