    Many thanks for this. I've been looking everywhere on how to do this.
    One question: I am trying to do the same with cables/wires rather than rope, how do you control the rigidity/floppiness?

      hey thanks, make sure you watch my previous bind tutorial, for cables you need very high swing + twist stiffness values.

    Another way to create correct spline is: 1st you need to do copies of this Circles, collapse them to one Editable Spline, add Normalize Spline for more detailed spline and then add tyParticleSkin modifier.
