The 2015 release of Photoshop CC rolls out exciting new features for designers and digital photographers.
In this video we’ll cover some of the major upgrades. You can also read below to get see a bird’s-eye-view of all the changes and for links to resources offering more information.
Adobe Camera Raw 9.1
Dehaze 00:46
With Adobe Camera Raw 9.1, you can now easily decrease or increase the amount of haze or fog in a photograph
White and Black Sliders in Local Adjustments
Local adjustment controls in Adobe Camera Raw 9.1 now include White and Black sliders. These new sliders are available when you use the Adjustment Brush, Graduated Filter, or Radial Filter.
Content Aware In Photomerge 02:56
The Photomerge dialog now allows you to fill transparent areas of your merged panorama with Content Aware.
Scale With The Content-Aware Move Tool 05:35
The Content-Aware Move tool now has Transform handles which allow you to scale the object you moved.
Blur Gallery 07:44
The Blur Gallery now contains a tab that allows you to Restore grain/noise to make blurred areas look more realistic.
Glyphs Panel 09:11
The new Glyphs panel makes it easier for you to insert specialized characters, as well as glyphs from other languages into text in Photoshop.
Layer Styles 10:46
You can now apply multiple effects (strokes, inner shadows, color overlays, gradient overlays, and drop shadows) to a single layer style.
Artboards 15:05
If you are a web or UX designer, you’re going to love Artboards.
Artboards allow you to designing websites or apps for multiple devices in the same canvas. You can think of artboards as individual canvases within one document.
This will allow you streamline your design process by giving you multiple canvases to work on.
Export 23:11
The new Export dialog box allows you to fine-tune settings every time you export layers, layer groups, artboards, or Photoshop documents as images.
Adobe Stock 25:06
Adobe Stock is a new service that provides high-quality, royalty-free images, illustrations, and vector graphics.
You can search for Adobe Stock content directly from within Photoshop.
Adobe Stock is also deeply integrated with Photoshop. You can use watermarked images in your Photoshop documents as a library-linked asset. If you like the image, you can then purchase a license and the linked asset will automatically update and remove the watermark.

I need help to draw in it, I want to make an animation using the timeline but when I try to play it, the art comes out all pixelly and stuff and it looks really messy. I haven't gotten used to making new frames and stuff because I am focussing on drawing in it so I can do frames and stuff so some tips on making new frames too would be helpful

Best overview yet on artboards. Thanks. I've been messing around and have come across an issue trying a similar workflow for the universal color. If i want to create a color swatch to implement and change throughout when updated, files willl have a mess of clipping mask layers on top of all your graphics. Let's say a button that will be throughout the design, I clip the linked object (color swatch) to my button and then create a smart object out of the 2 layers to keep the psd clean. The linked smart object inside a smart object doesn't update without manually going in and updating linked smart object. Any idea if that should work?
bkre8ive I think it should work, if the Smart Object is linked (not embedded).
Unfortunately it's not doable.Adobe Note:
While detecting changes to Linked Smart Objects or updating a Linked Smart Object, Photoshop only looks at the immediate linked file. Links nested inside Smart Objects are not updated.

+Tom George They took variations out! But you can use other adjustment layers instead, like color balance, or channel mixer. Not as intuitive but powerful.
does anyone know how to enable the adjustments button in the image tab?

In my CC-2015, I don't have the DeHaze feature in the Camera Raw Filter.
What do I do to get this feature?

Can you also animate with this software? I've seen animating tutorials using Photoshop CS6 EXTENDED, but when I look into Photoshop CC it seems it's only used for photo editing.
CC has the same features as CS6 Extended and more. You can animate with it if you like, although there are better tools for animating.
One more question- when I look at your two plans, I see the 'photography' bundle and the single app option. It's $19.99/month for photoshop as a single app, and $9.99/month for the photography bundle that includes photoshop cc AND lightroom cc. Is the 'photoshop' in both plans the same?
I clicked on the FX tab and I dont have the dehaze slider, I see the others but not that one.
