+Outboard Fun When I was making the video on fixed jet OMC carburetors from 1960 and mid to late 70's, I was also making the video to help a person that lived several states away. He had a 18hp 1966 Evinrude and had little mechanical experience with outboards. My main focus was on the1968 Johnson 6hp, but decided to show a portion on a 1964 Evinrude 18hp that the individual could follow for removing and cleaning his carburetor. So, yes I am aware that the 1964 Evinrude 18hp shortly displayed was not a Johnson. Hope it did not create too much of a distraction. Cheers guys, I hope this video helps you get your motor going again. A good resource to get quick and reliable information would be the AOMCI forum. Antique Outboard Motor Club, Inc has a free portion to there website and member would be happy to help. I have been a member for little over 7years and it is a great resource and a great much of guys. www.aomci.org Good luck with your motors!! Just because there are old motors does not mean they are not good or reliable. Cheers, Cajun
Looks like a Evinrude not a Johnson to me.
