Thank you so much for such an amazingly detailed series - super helpful, especially for beginners like myself (1st try at RC-ing, doing the jeep for our small son). Any chance you could recommend an alternative battery? Or what’s a must to look at in terms of replacements (besides battery size)? Can’t seem to find the exact model you used anywhere on stock. Thanks in advance!
You are very welcome 🙏 Any battery (lip 7.2v, li ion 6.6v, nimh 7.4v etc) that will fit under the bonnet (hood) will do. Just make sure that you have the correct charger for the battery.

I like the bruder model and really wanted a remote control version. I really don't know why they dont offer these in RC. I would buy one of them. You ever thought of doing the mods and selling them on Amazon?
Custom builds not really my thing. I enjoy the development and sharing designs really. Agree that Bruder stuff is just begging to be RC! :)
Is there a video on how to take out that beep in the radio.Or will you be showing a how to video on it.
I will do a quick video as part of this series showing just that . Obviously doing so will be at a persons own risk and probably invalidate the warranty, but it is so much nicer to program and use without the constant beeps. Takes about 5 mins - just a blue LED and couple of wires required.👍😊
