I think the big problem is that the new Superchargers have liquid cooled cables and that's just not feasible for a portable solution. It would have to be a monster cable and very expensive.
It never gets cold enough in my area to test. I would think if you use it with public charging, you shouldn’t have any problems (stored in the car). If you have it permanently set up outside, the cable will most likely be stiff like a lot of other EVSE cords.
I think somewhere in the development process they could not get the button signal to work. It's the only material thing I have issue with on this item.
@@MTNRanger That's too bad, that's basically a dealbreaker for me. The cable for my wall connector is barely enough to reach my chargeport and depends how I park in the garage. If I pull in, then no problem. I should have pay extra to had it install on the other side of my garage. Thanks for the video review though.
@Tesla Tips by MTN Ranger it's all good. Seriously, just talk like we're all hanging out. No need to have all the inflections. You sound like fake news but I'm sure you're fine.👍
Very detail review, thanks!!
The most detailed review I've seen so far! Awesome work 👌👏👏
Very nice job of reviewing the cable. I have one and found it works great.
Thanks, it seems like a nice option to take along on trips.
I was trying to find out if the extension cable would work with Level 2 Chargers. Your video covered that question thoroughly! 👍
Thanks for review. I’ve been to that park.
Very conprehensive review. Good job!
I am using 12 awg from hd thinking to buy this will this work for 120 charging dont have 240 volt yet
Yes, it will work with 120 V.
So is there not a way to get an extension cable for Tesla Super chargers?
No, none available for superchargers.
To bad its not heavy gauge enough to use at super charges, that way would not have to unhitch our camper trailer.

Yep I squared R gets in the way, some times physics is not on our side.
What about in the winter you think? Very cold canada weather + snow

Whats the point of the button if it doesn’t have functions.

This extension could be useful at ICEed chargers.
Very much so!
Is this approved by TESLA?
I don't think Tesla approves/disapproves of any particular charging hardware or accessories.
Dude just talk to us, don't talk like a news person. Thanks.
I'm always trying to improve. Thanks for you comment.

@@MTNRanger Your presentation in this video was great! I don't see what the problem is.
