Getting Cold Feet

The plaintiff, a traveling nurse, planned to rent a room from the defendant. Unfortunately, the defendant backed out of the deal and refuses to return the deposit, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff threatened her before moving in and thought she might have a gun. The defendant is countersuing for lost rent.
