Man so many of you guys are mad but I am low-key loving this. Seeing the Villainous protagonists revel in killing their nemesis is satisfying. All ya'll crying about "canon" or whatever is funny. Its a video game. Ain't even real to begin with. Its like deadpool says in Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe. They aren't invincible. They're only as strong as the writers want to make them. And they're invincible because you crybabies worship it.
Well they killed each hero with their weakness. Superman had kryptonite in his chest, Lanterns power was dissipated, Batman was seriously wounded. It wasn't that impossible Yeah, the plot is kinda rushed and doesn't tap on all possibilities. Endings are anticlimatic, you expect more drama from killing strongest people on Earth. But the character interactions are believable. The gameplay sucks. But it's not fair to compare it to previous games. Arkham City was better than average. This is average. Enjoyable but doesn't look like anything you spend your $70 on. The game isn't awful, but it will bomb probably.
No it isn't maybe actually play it, it's actually pretty fun. But you just described every game, same mechanics throughout I can just say Batman punch punch glide so🤨
@@mrmodpixelBatman’s mechanics is much more engaging because you can feel the punch in an action packed story driven game treated with care from the old Rocksteady staff. “You always gotta end on your best joke.” Couldn’t have said it better for the Arkham series if it had come straight from the Joker’s mouth Rocksteady.
What this game shows us at least is that it was a long time since a good villain came. Because it becomes really enjoyable to kill Green Lantern or Superman, even if they don't deserve it. But them turning evil and starting to mock everyone is really scary, unlike what your average villain does to scare you. Also playing for the villain becomes more enjoyable after all those edgy protagonists like Batman or Super-Man. They're all being real serious and try hard. While Harley or Bumerang guy are just saying f u man, you'll see how we kill you
By the sounds, the Justice League will return in the form of multiverse l counterparts which I know sounds like a cop out cuz it is but these “elseworlds” and other universes used in the endgame and future seasons spring off from the main arkhamverse so don’t worry they will still be the same characters just with slight changes depending on how their universe is, e.g., the Joker used in season 1 is sort of the Joker from Arkham Origins but was unable to find his footing as a major villain, why they didn’t get Hamill or Troy Baker to voice him I’ll never know but hey at least we’ll get the JL back eventually
i still wish that there will be an extra ending where batman gets ressurected with some sort of a lex corp technology or some megic happens. still hope...
I’m a little mad/sad they didn’t go with a cool idea I had. What if the Justice League that the squad kills is not the real Justice League but instead organic clones created by Brainiac
First Gotham knights, now this? Come on, Rocksteady and Montreal, when you will learn that this implementing from cyberpunk or fortnite doesn't do you any good. You were making such a unique and evolutionary gameplay mechanics (destroying the myth that there are only average superheroic games) that made you popular (and followed by lots of games using your mechanics). Don't copycat frome somebody, just make your own games like you did before. But the most tragic part is not even the fact that it's tied to Arkham verse, but the lack of the same level of code writing (the lack of impact when you're damaging smth or someone) meticulous work(like the cape animations from Asylum) attention to details (easter eggs and unique places) and even plot writing (I get it that you don't want to call Paul Dini, but even Knight and Origins were better than this, both characteristically and story wise). Even though they already have a perfect set up for a new game (remember 2015-16, when people were asking a separate red hood/nightwing/batgirl/catwoman game with the same mechanics from DLC's, just with a new story plot and more levels to play through). Instead they just keep eXpeRImeNTinG on already working formula for some reason. And to think of it, in 2013 people actually had the nerves to say that Origins was crappy and lame only because of the same map. Little did we know...
Ok so let me get this straight: Batman's suit is made of an extremely tough body armor that has tanked heavy duty RIFLES before... ...and a headshot from a revolver pierced it in a single shot? Nah, this isn't the Arkham Batman I played as on the PS3.
