Thanks for this very clear and simple overview. I wondered how often and when to prune. This answered it. Your topiaries and gardens are warm classic and beautiful. Thanks for all your content
I was out scouting my local big box store yesterday. Found a couple of good candidates for a double ball topiary... Keep up the good work on the videos!
This video is so timely I was at my local Home Depot yesterday and saw tons of boxwood and I was looking through the trunks and yes I'm going back today. I also tried propagating (thanks for that video) and see how it will turn out!
Brandon, this was so inspirational. I have resisted trying to create a boxwood topiary but I think between your videos and linda vater I can do it. Thank you!
Thanks Brandon 😊 I purchased a couple months ago a boxwood. I trimmed it a little. I am going to try to see if I can get it into a ball. Now I want to buy more.
Hi! I just found your video today! I enjoyed watching this video! I just liked and subscribed! I just got into topiaries last year and hope i can learn more! I really love your clay pots! Hope to catch up on your videos! I'm excited to follow you! I just liked and subscribed to your channel. Introvert mom of 4 sons (2 autistic) , enjoying the youtube community, learning from others, while trying to grow my channel, dog therapy music to save pups/humans lives. God Bless!
Your video was so inspirational and very informative. I would love to try this method on a boxwood but I live in Connecticut and boxwoods are hard to find. I was at a nursery today in 30 degree weather with the wind blowing and didn’t find any but I did buy three junipers for my flower border to add structure to it. The search goes on! Thank you for such great instructions. You’re very pleasant to listen to.
Hi Brandon, I love all your videos and I’ve learned soooo much from you- thank you. You’re fun and soo inspirational !! Would you please do a video on winter topiary care? I live in Atlanta and do not have a green house. Thank you🌳🌳
Hi Brandon, if you leave your pots outside, do they need the saucer underneath? I notice your topiaries have saucers. You’re the best- thank you again!!!
In the winter, how do you protect your topiaries in clay pots? Here in the Pacific Northwest, if clay pots are wet and it freezes, the pot will crack... :-(
Great video, Brandon. I've been waiting for another boxwood trim from you as I loved your first one. I have bought from Home Depot too. I'm super careful to look for disease as well as the single trunk. I'm kinda cheap so I stuck some trimmings in dirt last summer, no rooting hormone to hand, and thought, what the heck. Guess what? Some of them have roots anyway! So I'm off and running. I don't have as many years in front of me as you do, but I do have some Plant Tone! 😆 There's not such thing as too many boxwoods! PS. Where do you purchase your gravel?
U have mold on one of those u have to keep it away from others and don't prune with same blades put all the box in the ground and keep air flowing on roots do not water on top akways water them at roots
Boxwood, my favorite plant. Thanks for the video
It's Belle, from CasaCollado, Brandon. I'm loving all your videos. A man after my own heart..........XOXO
So happy to see you on here!

Thank you for showing this, I know what I’ll be looking out for next garden centre shopping
Neat tutorial! Thanks for sharing!

Double ball! Exciting!
@@BrandonLarkRoberts How do you know a good candidate for a double ball? You are awesome Brandon!
@magmamom333 you’d have to either find a large established boxwood and trim it or train a small one to grow that way.
Great video and I ❤️ how great they all look! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing. And please do more.❤️
Awesome! 🪴
Great tips on making a boxwood topiary. Just a friendly tip for the future maybe wear a white shirt so we can see the topiary a little better.

Another great video! I’m sneaking off to Home Depot at lunch today!

Beautiful topiaries👏👏👏
High impact and cheap. That’s me. 😆 I’m so excited for this video. They are “cute as a button” 🤗💕
You’re the cheapest lol jk 😂
You make this so easy to follow. Put a pair of glasses on it and it becomes a cutie just like you! 🤓🌳
I can’t begin to tell you how many people have told me I make it look so easy. 🤔 maybe I need to him him some children’s sunglasses lol 😂

Thank you🌳🌳
Maybe you could wear a different colored shirt for contrast, the green one here is matching the boxwood color. Wonderful video!
You really inspired me to try this. 🌳🤞🏻
Very nice and intresting I wil start toomorrow ;) in N-France .Thank you for sharing your passion.
New subscriber. I Love topiary and love your video!
I have so many boxwood trimmings in my little nursery area. But I do need some larger specimens.
The green tee shirt is great camouflage. Can’t see a thing!
Awesome demonstration. Thank you! I just did my first one and now I’m hooked! You have a lovely collection! 🌿🌿🌿😃
Awesome Brandon. What a great economical way to make cool boxwood topiary😎🌳Love your videos. please Cab you do them in wide screen?
I’ll see what I can do. 😉
Thank you 🙏
Wearing a white shirt would have provided a contrast between the plant and yourself, and more easily show what you are doing
What kind of gravel do you buy?
Thank you!!!!
What do i put on the middle of the trunk so no braches or leaves will grow like looks clean

I’m going to Home Depot 😀💛
Brandon thank you for the video. I have to say that it is a bit frustrating that you are wearing green in the back of a green plant.
Thanks for the feedback
Good video - tip for the next one - green shirt and green plant - hard to really see what you were doing.
Which fertilizer you suggest for these boxwoods please
I have 4 potted boxwoods in terracotta pots. They are 1.5 years old and still look the same. They haven’t grown. What am I doing wrong?
If you would wear a white shirt we could see it better. Just helping. Love.it.

What kind are they ?
nice video! On my way to Big Box store. BTW, maybe not wear a dark shirt while doing your work, hard to see exactly what you are doing.
👍 thanks for the feedback
Can’t see what you’re doing with e the green shirt and green plant.
Can’t see the topiaries up against your green shirt, please wear a light color one next time.
Where do you live I'm living Central Alberta how dare survive are you putting inside.
Can’t see your cutting because you have a green shirt on. Duh!
U have mold on one of those u have to keep it away from others and don't prune with same blades put all the box in the ground and keep air flowing on roots do not water on top akways water them at roots
There’s no mold on those.
