Angelina was knighted by the queen through her "friendship " with a British male politician ( yes it was shady how she got that knighthood ) so she started hanging around British barons ( members of the house of lords ) during that period .
She had decided to dump brad use her same connection to get a peerage ( become a baron or member if the house of lords like her friends ) so she could further her political ambitions. And gain higher status than an average actress .
So when brad didn't play along she couldn't take the kids so she made up all sorts of lies about him being a bad father etc to get custody.
She needs the kids to turn them against brad , that's why shes have them with her even during red carpets to show that shes a good mother she has Shiloh in dress etc . Shiloh was forbidden by her to wear girly clothes Angelina was worried she would steal her spotlight .
Now shes socially bribing the kids to get them on her side until the case is over .
