I still like DBXV2 I still play it occasionally. The games issues though are insane for any for of online play. You’d think a game based around a big RPG element with a decent combat system in a series based around fighting you’d think it would have a significantly better connections and servers.

Well the matches I usually get are the enemy completely frozen for like 30 seconds, then I suddenly get half of my health bar gone, and then the same until I lose, so I completely understand your frustration. Oh the best part is that the people lagging ask for rematches... yeah sure I'll totally fight you again when I literally can't do sh*t. God this game and people sometimes
I've fought this dude (princeuchiha425) plenty of times. When he loses tho he says that you were playing against a 5 year old or a 6 year old and starts to cheese just because he's losing. Just another player who ruins the game for others since he has nothing better to do apparently
I feel u steed when u hit someone first and they somehow hit u and ur stun animation is longer than there's and they get free hits off of you...its the worst. I fought a custom cooler player a week ago and I'm hitting him constantly and the hits don't work, he/she even messed up a combo( coolers light, heavy, light) and still got me which left me stuck in a fall animation and proceeds to combo me with ki blast cannon.

Train and hone your Xv2 skills and gaming combat knowledge for years only to realize your opponent disconnects from your combos, somehow turn invisible or 'teleport' while magically decimating your health bars within seconds and your hits not landing. I consider that to be baffling.

That fight with Gogeta is the same kind of fight that I had yesterday, and the reason as to how Xenoverse 2 as a game can be devastatingly ruined with lag. It's incredibly frustrating when your backhits or literally any move won't hit but theirs will when they attack the same way you do.
I still enjoy playing xenoverse but me and my brother just do the parallel quests together. I sometimes hop onto pvp but now I’ve stopped entirely due to how bad the lag can get against the opponent and it’s just a terrible experience nowadays.
I just started in the pvp mode for this game and something that already bugs me is how many people z vanish spam and or block spam. Also a handfull of my matches people have terrible connection, like them straight up teleporting and hitting me from across the map. I dont think im crazy good at the pvp aspect but I have a strong feeling if it was more balanced in the aspects I mentioned I would have a fair chance of winning.

My recommendation is that you use Ki Cancel because considering how fast you are, Ki cancel will make you twice as fast. Fought a bunch of laggy guys today, one of them just picked Gogeta Blue, all 5 fights we had, and he didn't even know how to play but still managed to block/dodge out of mid combos somehow... Also, me hitting attacks got so delayed i thought i missed so i stopped attacking and then the opponent got a free recovery... Edit: all the laggy guys just happened to spam ki cancel too so ya...
I've always experienced this in matches to where I'll still be beaten by a guy spamming backhits with a male saiyan cac because his internet allows his punches to bend reality to where it can hit me 7 feet away and get half of a combo in before I fall out of it
Honestly at that point of 3 games of someone running away the whole fight still I'd just start spamming the unvanishable X combo into a full charged power impact or full power energy wave they need to learn
I'm surprised I don't see more people abuse Wild Hunt. Maybe they don't realize you can use it after ANY kind of knockback that has equal or faster recovery to the standard X-Y of male Saiyans, not just after a knock back resulting from normal attack combos. Unsurprisingly the game stupidly considers the last hit of Wild Hunt to also be such a knock back.
