I've fought against the guy several times. After being defeated over and over he messaged me with "not with my time." And so I did the comical lean forward in my chair and proceeded to try my ass off with piccolo of all people. After beating him a few times he gave me the same message only this time. "Piccolo" instead of Jiren.
My favorite part is when Jiren said "What's Wrong"

As someone who mains Jiren now that was satisfying. I also love how close mine plays to yours🖤
Note:Jiren has great Cancels, but low damage supers that don't connect on most knock backs, he has a weak ult, and a very strong 10 bar ult that requires great amount of setup. He's far from a god tier. The only way to exploit with him is to xx cancel with him.
And for a character that’s built like a turkey his cancel is faster than the male earthling one

Hey Steed, you should do a video teaching how to play with Jiren, i like him a lot but i can't understand his combos well.
Here is a super basic Jiren shit.
Do dashing light into light.
Did it hit? If no dash to the side.
Do it again or use triangle.
Did it hit? If no dash or tap meteor crash.
Your best combos are (dashing)LLHLH, Full Heavy and 5L3H.
You can dash cancel the first one after the first knockback and the third after the 2ndH to keep going.
The heavy can be ki cancelled before thr last hit.
Jiren has ridiculous strike damage, reaching ult levels with meteor crash
If the connection is weird, delay your inputs at the yxyxy just a tad and do not really finish your light combo...or use it ever lol.
