- I use this on every ride on the Electric Unicycle. The functional use as a backpack combined with the high level CE2 rated impact protection gives peace of mind I cannot go without.

Awesome video Jon, you are always honest, and you get into very detailed reviews 👍 I hope you get your lynx. I'm getting mine in a few days 😊
Thanks mate, got the Lynx and loving it!
Woohoo stoked for you, enjoy :)
It's not something I need but your video is convincing. Well done
thanks mate, save your $$! :p
I've had mine for nearly 10 years. Have used it for motorcycling, cycling, fishing and travelling overseas. Not the most spacious backpack but the versatility and durability is great. It's does get warm and sweaty in summer but keeps you cosy in winter lol
wow great all rounder for you. I've recently had two big crashes with it. both times I rolled onto the backpack to slide it out. The cargo net is shredded and some of the side webbing. The plastic shell held up really well and it slid well. imgur.com/a/w2kETMk
@@jonoeuc good to hear mate, it's a pricey piece of equipment but worth every cent specially when it's protected you from serious accidents
Thanks for another quality upload Jono. Any chance you could review the riderbag? It's a high viz protective backpack. Have a great day m8.
cheers!
I might reach out to them for a sponsor. since thats the only way i'd get one for review.
I really need to visit Australia one day !
Its pretty great, particularly here on the sunshine coast.
Would you want to show me your city if the time ever comes ? 😁@@jonoeuc
Okay forget that idea, i didn't want to scare you and look like some kind of weirdo, i just think Australia is beautiful !@@jonoeuc
What is the cargo/ interior length and width dimension? You showed the overall dimensions on the outside but not inside.
Hi Cod I got those dimensions for you here:
hope that helps

@@jonoeuc thanks, so that 15 inch for a laptop looks right in line for your measurement.
Looks good for full back protection, but when wearing it, you don't have any front protection for the chest. I've slammed into the side of a car when it ran a stop sign and that chest protection saved me. That said, neither the chest/back protector or padding at the top rear of my pants saves the lower back and I've taken some nasty backward spills that have smashed that part of my spine.
Bummer, glad you're ok.
I do want to fashion a chest guard that attaches to the bag straps. To mainly act as a slide plate. My shoulders are also exposed without the motorcycle jacket. However I've made peace with that for now since I want to keep riding and enjoy it during the summer heat.
My tailbone is covered with the Leatt 5.0 Impact shorts (smaller pad there might not cut it).
Hey Jon can I ask: When you bought your Nylonove pads were you able to get cheaper delivery?
I was getting ready to pull the trigger on an order last night, when I had the shipping calculated it came out to over $160.00 aud, (pretty yiikes inducing.)😵💫😵
Hey mate, the shipping is horrendous. Same for my V1 pads. I'm very thankful that the V2s were sponsored by NyloNove. All I can do to help is offer you my discount code 'Jono' at checkout (no kickbacks just cheaper for you).
There are some local fellas that print pads for I presume cheaper. Not sure if they're available etc but if you're interested?
Thanks for the reply Jono, I ended up taking the hit, (spanking) pads and peddles. Pretty weird how Leaperkim haven’t: either made better options, or sourced better options. But as they’ve had years already and haven’t made that move, I’m kinda certain they’re not going to. I’ve been watching you enjoying the Lynx, going to be watching you closely, kitting mine out about the same I believe.👍
Would like you to give me an honest read, on a scale of 1 to 10. How hard will it be for me to learn EUCing on the Lynx? Hard… Silly… demented? I’ve been watching some vlogs and it looks like I’m in for some ‘fun’.😭😁
@@jonoeuc 👍
I can get a carbon fibre copy from aliexpress for half the price, what to do, what to do?
Do it and let us know how the quality is and if it holds up!
Hi John. Is it an old video? Or you just haven't changed yet your Sherman S to Lynx as you planned ?
He’s picking it up soon. I’m his best friend, that’s why I know.
It is an up to date video! The lynx's were delayed to Australia. I have mine now :)
Great content mate - you can get a MC backpack with for 10% of what this Swedish firm takes. Methinks its totally overpriced. Over 1000 USD is madness. ..
wow $1000usd? is that for the carbon fiber?
yeah the price stung when i bought mine.
Also i forgot to mention the company is Point 65 (degrees) N.
If anyone is wondering
@@jonoeuc 1200 USD actually for top of the line. The problem with a lot of protective gear is that its not really protective, its produced by retards imho. They dont know the anatomy of humans or they dont really care. This product is overpriced methinks.... You can get cheaper spine protection def.
Cheapo hardshell MC backpack and a plastic spine protector that covers tailbone is less expensive - But its warm and Bulky. The D3O protection gear are terrible products since they only protect a fragment of the relevant anatomical structure. I really should make a video about "bad protection gear for EUCs " but Im a little too lazy......
@@FinnBjerkeHey I would love to hear what you got to suggest as an alternative to a MC warm and bulky back protector
You guys can enter stores with pev. We got banned here in oregon usa.
alright who got them banned?! haha but yea that sucks
Is your sunglasses transition lens?
hey, at 6:56 they are Smith s photochromatic (transition is branded) Would've preferred the Oakley evzero photochromatic like the road prizm oakleys i wear. better comfort.
@@jonoeuc Evzero seemed really nice!
Is that why you guys wear those backpacks.
Why is that backbag shaped like that? Weird
I read that it's to distribute the load higher onto your back which is more ergonomic. Then the thin curve at the bottom contours to my back nicely. Provides coverage too.
