He came to my school and played for charity back in 2010 and I had the chance to meet him after the show. He is an amazing guy to talk to!

I dont think he is being exploited - I reckon he is probably loaded! Good luck to him. I think music is something to be felt, celebrated and experienced. I think this man expresses and releases himself wonderfully through his music.

Music is a feeling - an emotion - it does not always have to be technically perfect. Has something less than perfect never moved you?
It is a shame that you feel this way.

I wonder if David has ever played a pipe organ. It probably wouldn't be too difficult at his level of talent. I'd love to hear Toccata and Fugue in D minor with his incredibly expressive style.

Ok, I can see your point. I just thought that maybe your critique was a bit harsh, considering the crap that's actually out there, and I thought that maybe his situation had something to do with it. Just like RCA and others are, of course, quite clearly, on the other extreme. It seems I'm in the wrong here...I'm sorry if I came down on you a bit hard, I didn't want to offend you or anything. Cheers :)

Is he actually more "embarrassing" than, say, Lang Lang? I think you are bothered by the fact that a "mentally ill" person, instead of being locked up or out of sight, anyway, is actually being successful (regardless of what I or you think about his technique) and loved by "all that people led..." etc etc. You sound like HE's actually the problem about "people's" bad taste in music.

A TERRIBLE pianist, dropped notes, phrasing all wrong. Shine has a lot to answer for.

I just think he's a person with a mental disorder who is being exploited.
