I have the pro version and received the VARS error message. I updated the htaccess to 3000 and the error went away, but came back when I added even more regions. Can I increase beyond 3000 in the htaccess file?

Had a small question - is it possible to edit the text size for each country? When I hover over the map on my Wordpress site the text for each country is very large, like size 200+.

Hi Carlos, I just installed the map and its excaclty what I was looking for! Just a quick thing... The South Africa maps include Marion Island which is about 1600km south east of South Africa, how can I display the South African map to exclude this island?

In this free version, you can already display html content in the tooltip on hover, so you can have images and text. In the Pro version you can have content display on click outside the map and enable a rich text editor to make it easier to add images.
Hi, this is really great, as this code I have been using doesn't seem to be working on WP Bakery. Is this plugin compatible with Bakery? Also, is it possible to create a map of europe and include Israel?

Yes, in the Pro version it's possible to add images in the tooltips or use images as markers. In the free version you can also have images in the tooltips if you use html code.
So can this map be also used as a mesh for a three js sphere ? ..

Hi Eric! The plugin doesn't include individual county maps of the UK. You would need to get the geojson files for them to be able to use them in the plugin.

I just had it installed on a webpage I'm working on, and for some reason every time I try to publish or save a map it instead sends me over to a 404 page within my own website and thus I cannot seem to be able to create a map of my own. Would you happen to have an idea as to why this happens?

I'm not sure I understood the requirements, but I think this plugin might not be the best for what you need, although you can use custom maps.

Hi does your plugin allow multiple maps to be created. On our blog we wish to display individual interactive country maps. So we would have a list of countries, the user would click on a country and the map for that country would open. Is this possible please?
Yes, you can have as many maps as you want.

Hi! That's only possible in the Pro version, where you can manually add labels or have the labels auto populate for the map displaying.

Hi, Carlos. This is the best plugin that I have ever seen. Would you please tell me that if I want to show the names of the countries over this map by default, not over hovering? Is this possible?. Also please tell me that how can I show each single County Map of the US with the Cities in it. Same as the US map with the States.?

Hi! Depends on the level of detail you need. If your points of interest will be in different countries, then this will work well, if you need city maps, this won't be the best solution.

There's not limit, but the tooltip shouldn't contain a lot of content, so it doesn't cover the full map when it displays, specially on mobile. In the Pro version you can have longer content display in a lightbox for example.

Unfortunately it's not possible to divide regions in the plugin itself, you would need to use a custom geojson map, where the divisions you need are already done.

Is there a way to automatically create pin point by itself when a user select their country themselves?
Currently it's only possible for admin/editors to create points on the map, in the map edit screen, it's not possible to add markers in the frontend.

Hi Annie! The 'Preview Only' should only display when you're editing the page. When you see the live page, it shouldn't display.
The plugin is great but we cant get the map we need to start with (even though there's hundreds!) We need a world map that just doesnt have the americas on it. Just europe, asia, africa, australasia. but no americas, is this something thats available?
Hi Jason. Yes, that's possible. You can explore the 'exclude' option in the Regions tab to exclude the Americas in a continents map for example.

Hello, Carlos - I am more than pleased to find this excellent plugin! Most of the other similar products focus on just specific locations. Your plugin stands out by covering the entire country or region. I can’t wait to put together a map showing all of the countries I have visited.
I am running a membership travel site. I noticed that this plugin could “Populate map automatically.” It will be perfect for including this feature in the member profile. I can list all of the countries (close to 200) and let the member click then save. A “Visited Countries Map” will be populated automatically within my member profile. Can this be done? But the plugin is easily extended with addons, so something could be developed to integrate with your membership site. Question: can we put timezone on to the region or country?

The Pro version includes an option to open content in a lightbox. Then it would be a matter of opening the contact form on an for example. You can also trigger custom javascript in the Pro version, so you could trigger a popup from a different plugin with the contact form.

The maps needs an active internet connection, to fetch the map files from the cdn. Could that be the issue? It should still work on a local install.

It should work normally in Elementor, you simply need to add the map shortcode in a widget. There's also a Map widget offered by the plugin. The only thing is that the full interactive map will only render in the live page, not when previewing or editing the page.

Hi David, yes, it should work on Oxygen Builder. However, you will need to follow their instructions on how to properly embed shortcodes from other plugins and the map might not display in preview/edit mode, only in published page.

Can you please make a video demonstrating how the Zoom feature works? I guess that is in the pro version. The zoom demo on the website does not work.
You can enable the some basic zoom controls in the free version in the settings also.

You can navigate to Maps > Settings > Map Features and you can enable zoom controls there.

Does using this PlugIn increase SEO?
Using the maps itself shouldn't have a direct impact in SEO. It will depend on the content of the page where you place the map, I would say. But for sure it would create an impact with your site visitors.

Just make a search button separately and in the plunging program add a place holder and invert the search string .. make sure to make that non capital conversion tho
