The only game where I take a LMG and use it for its intended role... suppressing fire. This game is THAT cinematic. Edit: I should have said the only game I play. I'm not too big on FPS games or gaming in general anymore so I usually don't play the hardcore shooters and milsims I own. I do know about Insurgency, HLL, Post Scriptum, Squad, Tannenberg and Verdun though. All good games in my book
I confess that I'm happy, because the BF community is very faithful to the game, as much as we distanced ourselves for a while, we always come back sometime, I even went back to playing BF4 and BF1 together often too, because they are two timeless titles for us fans.

@@Aphexion it's a well made game but the fact that everyone is running around with full auto guns, all factions use the same vehicles and literal tank battles just ruin the atmosphere. It's more like a ww2 game. Because of the same reason I bought Verdun back then, to have a realistic ww1. Of course if you ignore all of that its great but I can't. Things like that kill the atmosphere for me that's why bfv was even better. Not just gameplay wise. Germans were driving German tanks and British were driving British tanks.

It was one of the most stressful moments of my life
Battlefield 1 might not be perfect but damn, the soundtrack, the atmosphere, the animations and the voice acting were amazing, why battlefield 2042 couldn't be like this but in modren day ?
@@mohamednail1707 I think overall the game is actually decent, I like battlefield 1 a lot more, but I think the gameplay and the shooting is quite nice in BF5, I dare say one of the best. The maps were fun, and there wasn't inherently really overpowered. The only issue I think everyone had with the game were the characters and how the game was marketed, especially with the campaign. Though what made it so mid tier was that it wasn't exceptional. It wasn't battlefield 3 or 4 where modern conflict allows more creative freedom and more insanity, along with more tools of war in comparison to a world war 2 game, and it wasn't battlefield 1 where the atmosphere made it feel like you were some nameless bloke in the heat of world war 1.

I play on pc and rarely if ever encounter a cheater. I suppose it has to do with geographical location, we south americans are too poor to buy cheats n_n
Or bring a small team on to make updates and new content here and there. The game is still very healthy so I think this would suffice, though it’s a pipe dream, to get any new content on a several year old game from dice
One of the best games ever made in my opinion. The graphics were such an amazing accomplishment in this time. The step up from what was previously done is astounding. The soundtrack and sound design is perfect. And to think a WW1 era game could have been adapted to fit a modern gaming experience with a respect towards the history of WW1, is an accomplishment that we overlook.
Funny thing : I found a Lebel Cartrige in my garden, the bullet was produced in 1896, and i found it somewhere close to a Kar-98k bullet from 1941, And i live in Cergy-Pontoise, in the suburbs of Paris ;)
I do the same thing. Feel like it's easier to snap to a target with the gun down and quickly aim and fire rather than try to track enemies while zoomed in

I stardted playing BF1 again on ps5 I previously had an xbox so I had to start from scratch but it has been really fun, though some matches are frustratingly one sided
I don’t remember the map name but it’s the one where the British spawn on a ship, we held the objectives for a few minutes before snipers and one push broke our defence. It was so cool and it’s not impossible to take the objectives but it can be hard I wish battle field did that more
On hardcore servers I recommend the gwher 98 infantry. I promise good results. And for snipers on normal and hardcore games use the suppressed one at the bottom, it usually does 100 damage on normal servers from almost all ranges that you will see them
I reinstalled the game maybe a year ago and had a couple of rushes where Nivelle Nights was frequent. Man, this map is annoying when the enemy has the upper hand. They can spawn camp you so hard, because you cant poke your head out of the trenches, but they can run around on the fields.
I like how all the people that started playing BF late refer to this game as "the one you always come back to for a good BF experience", while this is arguably when the game started to decline (not counting hardline of course).
Bf1 is the only game that I like lootboxes in. They are relatively easy to get, once you get a bunch of duplicates you can get even more points to spend, and they are purely cosmetic.

I love playing Neville nights it's a complete horrifying experience for the French you get jumped so much its kinda scary
