Very nice love a good multi metal meltdown session! We still have yet to do an aluminum melt but hoping to do one soon!

Smart to protect your eyes and lungs from that coating!
If you have an angle grinder, try a wire wheel on that. To me the ergonomics are much nicer than a drill.
