Brooo, so last year in 7th grade i learned about the Trojan Horse. I'll explain it but its coming from an 8th grader so... The trojan horse was a gift to end the trojan war. But little did they know that there were people inside the horse ready to kill all the people because they had the king's wifey. So he planned the horse to get them back. Sorry if it isn't too detailed i forget some things but there was a lot of tea let me tell you that😂
There is another theory that Jin actually represents Athena (not Ares). She is Goddess of Wisdom and Justice. She is also associated with craft and warfare and was a warrior goddess who lead soldiers into battle. With Athena's help the Trojan Horse was made. In Ancient Greece, there was a (demoted) King who wore the veil due to anger after his honor was insulted and publicly attacked by men in power. (Read the story of Demaratus) Now the song N.O by BTS is a socio-political song that talks about society's pressures and ideals and how BTS wants us to resist it and say no. DIONYSUS is a story about an artist who is drunk with passion for his artistry. When BTS remixed N.O + DIONYSUS after seeing the veiled man's intro, I knew they wanted to send a message. That they are angry and in pain because of the "system". Obviously at the beginning of the year, their meteoric rise was undeniable BUT at the second half, the so called "system" in the entertainment industry began it's work to shade/deny their achievements. As well as using them for clout (Hence, Grammys and other award shows) Even this recent MMA 2019, there were rumors circulating that an entertainment company was brewing underhanded tactics against BTS. To me, for what I understood, the N.O + DIONYSUS remix means saying NO to the powerful individuals who show contempt for the artist. The industry's system who lambaste BTS' honor and success.

This what makes BTS different! Their ability to tell a story! They open up new topics for Army to discover. They have intelligence that they utilise to the fullest! The fact the Jhope is the primary writer makes me so proud! It makes you think about the world, the history and present social economic issues people face - not just the youth- and loving oneself. Add fo the fact that their music does hit you differently when you just open your mind and heart to what they are trying to deliver.
Plot twist: BTS : Let us just throw everything on the performances. Pool, silk, horses, etc, anything we can throw to fill that huge stage. ARMY : Guys, yo! Open your godd*mn eyes widely, there will be theories & hints for their comeback! (Digging up a theory research)

Dionysus wasn't the god of just wine, but also festivities and frenzy. If you look at the lyrics of Dionysus, they say let's get drunk on art because art is intoxicating like wine. In Korean, art is 예술 (yaesool) and wine is 술 (sool), so they're playing with words here.
Also with his Thyrsus (the staff that RM was holding) dripping with ivy and honey, used to destroy those who oppose his cult and the freedoms he represents. His wine, music and ecstatic dance free his followers from self-conscious fear and care, and subvert the oppressive restraints of the powerful. I believe that Dionysus fit their artistic side and as the MOTSP is a journey, Dionysus is the last song, cause they accepted their artistic persona. They drunk the wine and reborn as artists. I believe he said that the album tells a story of an artist who's trying to figure out who he is at the beginning and, through learning about and connecting with his supporters, he comes to accept and understand that he is someone who can inspire others like Dionysus. I love how they think of the album as a cohesive whole, with a beginning, development, resolution... it's so artful.
@@christa7834 Yes I agree. I haven't see yet the album review but I had read Dr. Murray Stein's Jungian analysis of the album MOTS:P and he wrote the same thing. "The way I understand the BTS group, having looked at their videos, is that these seven young men represent different aspects of a single personality. That's the way I'm going to think of it. We're talking about a single person with different faces." He said the themes of the seven songs, run the gamete of human emotion and thought, including love, hope, vision, and despair, noting that the album identifies the different experiences, struggles and emotions the "one personality" seems to be going through in each song. So based on Namjoon's album review, Steins is right xD The album is like an evolution. Im truly excited to see, how they will make their next album :D

As a Greek I want to correct something. Artemis actually is a Goddess, she is a woman and she is not the Goddess of moon, Artemis is the Godess of hunting. We don't have a God of moon in Greek mythology. I think that Jimin maybe is Aeolus the God of wind bc the dancing and the choreo looks like it. As for the trojan horse it was invented by Odysseus, inside were hiding the most great Greek warriors such as the immortal Achilles so they can mislead the trojans that this was a gift from the Gods, they took it into Troy and during the night the Greeks that were hiding in there caught the trojans out of guard, they attacked and won the war. For those who don't know there is a very good movie too called "Troy" and the great Achilles was played perfectly by Brad Pitt. Lots of love from Greece 🇬🇷💙
I'm also Greek and I love ancient greek mythology I have exactly the same thoughts about Jimin amongst others. I liked your theory about Jin and when I was first saw it I thought the same but then I also thinked that maybe they should all represent a God or a Goddes. And when I saw the fire horse at the end I thoughthe might be Helios God of Sun. Also we do have Goddess of the moon in Greek mythology, Selena (Thats why we call the moon Σελήνη) and she even was one of the Titans.

when i think about these things that BTS do and BigHit do for them as these performances and albums and songs as they make them all relate together, when u think of it it may seem cool but then think about how much work there was putted in and how hard it was to relate it together it will make your heart flutter at how they try and work for ARMY's, and again xCeleste is a wonderful youtuber because if not of these youtubers help we wouldnt know the meanings and the hard work they all put in for us. love you BTS

Zagreus and Dionysus are the same and different at the same time. Zagreus was the kid between Persephone and Hades, and the reason why they’re connected is because Persephone was said to have raised Dionysus, who was also said as her and Zeus’ son, but has also been said to be Zeus’ and a maiden name Semele’s son.

The then king humiliated him, so he left a gathering covering his head with a veil. He covered his head not in shame but as an expression of anger due to the treatment he got from people in power Edit : the panthers are symbol of Dionysus. That's why BTS always bring the panters when ever they perform Dionysus. I search it from wikipedia.

Dionysus wasn't the god of just wine, but also festivities and frenzy. If you look at the lyrics of Dionysus, they say let's get drunk on art because art is intoxicating like wine. In Korean, art is 예술 (yaesool) and wine is 술 (sool), so they're playing with words here.
Also with his Thyrsus (the staff that RM was holding) dripping with ivy and honey, used to destroy those who oppose his cult and the freedoms he represents. His wine, music and ecstatic dance free his followers from self-conscious fear and care, and subvert the oppressive restraints of the powerful. I believe that Dionysus fit their artistic side and as the MOTSP is a journey, Dionysus is the last song, cause they accepted their artistic persona. They drunk the wine and reborn as artists. I believe he said that the album tells a story of an artist who's trying to figure out who he is at the beginning and, through learning about and connecting with his supporters, he comes to accept and understand that he is someone who can inspire others like Dionysus. I love how they think of the album as a cohesive whole, with a beginning, development, resolution... it's so artful.

As a Greek I want to correct something. Artemis actually is a Goddess, she is a woman and she is not the Goddess of moon, Artemis is the Godess of hunting. We don't have a God of moon in Greek mythology. I think that Jimin maybe is Aeolus the God of wind bc the dancing and the choreo looks like it. As for the trojan horse it was invented by Odysseus, inside were hiding the most great Greek warriors such as the immortal Achilles so they can mislead the trojans that this was a gift from the Gods, they took it into Troy and during the night the Greeks that were hiding in there caught the trojans out of guard, they attacked and won the war. For those who don't know there is a very good movie too called "Troy" and the great Achilles was played perfectly by Brad Pitt. Lots of love from Greece 🇬🇷💙
I'm also Greek and I love ancient greek mythology I have exactly the same thoughts about Jimin amongst others. I liked your theory about Jin and when I was first saw it I thought the same but then I also thinked that maybe they should all represent a God or a Goddes. And when I saw the fire horse at the end I thoughthe might be Helios God of Sun.
Also we do have Goddess of the moon in Greek mythology, Selena (Thats why we call the moon Σελήνη) and she even was one of the Titans.

The then king humiliated him, so he left a gathering covering his head with a veil. He covered his head not in shame but as an expression of anger due to the treatment he got from people in power

DIONYSUS was considered to be an outsider by many as in some stories he was only half God, taken from the womb of his mother before she died from looking at Zeus in his full glory, he was then implanted into Zeus's thigh and born as a God. The Thracian horse is also a breed of horse, the same one that Alexander the Great was said to have read.
