1:05:25 Those "steps" were most likely used as ratcheting for a water plunger to control the levels of the water within it. This controlled the pressure/temperature of the chambers where chemical reactions were taking place.
46:00 The holes remind me of what you'd expect to see if they had nuclear control rods that lowered into the lid to slow down/speed up the chemical reaction that was taking place.
Man i could watch footage all day of going through pyramids etc and you two narrating it. So awesome for people who cant there, definitely the next best thing ❤
Keep up the good work boys. This is great for those of us who don't have the resources to go exploring. You are very much appreciated. Happy new year 🎉
Absolutely fantastic you’re actually taking the time and effort to go and do actual research, it seems these people that do the tours the only reason they go is to take a load of people and make some cash out of it, other than that they’re not going on their own for personal reasons. So I massively appreciate that especially with jobs and families guys, well done and keep it up 👍🏼
Credit to you guys for helping with the 3D-scan/3D-photogrammetry in Egypt! I hope this is just the beginning of a long term project to do this kind of work! It's a learning process, you get better the more you do it I am sure!
Wow you and me Kyle need to work out how we could do that as a permanent job so awesome to be amongst all of that crazy old precise stone work... when I went to Lahourn in 2022 just before the main tour with you lot it was in way better condition hardly any roof schillings where on the floor. It would be such a shame if it all collapsed in and you couldn't go to see that amazing rose granite box and room it was one off my high lights of visiting Egypt. I loved seeing all the scanning that ya's did and all those tunnels under the black pyramid ... and that crazy big box down the shaft near Unas Pyramid at Saqqara we need to get down there I have got photos all around it but not down the shaft .😃🤙🐍🐍🐍
Had an idea Kyle and Russ from one of your vids about the menkaure pyramid lower flattened of granite casing stones. Them notches underneath the blocks above the doorway...i saw a video where they used a leverage system that goes all the way up one side of the pyramid with ropes and pulleys, over the top, and down the other side. They put a block on at the bottom oneside, and at the top carriage on the opposite side, start loading it with sandbags until you counter weight the block just enough to bring it up the pyramid. Once at the top, lock the carriage. Maybe using hooks on lower blocks on opposite side? Then once the blocks unloaded, unhook, let the carriage fall. Start again
At about 50 minutes in all those holes in the side of the shaft are for mounting brackets for an elevator. Probably wooden brackets for a wooden platform elevator of some sort.
Sure have missed your 'casts, Señor Snakey-lakes! Since I are a Animator, I started my teentsie studio in the 70s building a Camera stand w a then-25-year-old Swiss Bolex 16mm camera, years before "transitioning" to CGI. Lot of photographers learned the basics of lenses, f-stops, normal angles, polarizing filters, and such. Bet you have lots of folks among the SnakeForce who will devour all the technical concepts & details of your work. Not as formal (yet) as a Scientific paper but helping to expand the foundations of a much deeper appreciation of what came before. Thank you.
Not promoting the tube but I watch it so much that I got a family subscription and 5 people can use it with their own tube accounts. (I'm not a bot 🐍snakes lol)Saved my grown kids from the ads and saves us all from paying single subscription each.
You lads ever thought about doing archaeology qualifications so you can do your own papers, site your own work, all the accredited bollocks? Would get a foot in the door the start the paradigm shift on our history. Just a thought
ua-cam.com/video/Fokl8C282XY/v-deo.html ........and this is why the work the of Russ and Kyle and Ben and Adam, Karoly, Jahannah, Matt Beall, Chris Dunn and many others is so important. Standing on the shoulders of adventurers such as Petrie, Breasted, Piazzi Smyth, and latterly Hancock, Bauval, West and Dunn, you are revealing to us the amazing abilities of the Egyptian peoples and their extraordinary capacity to work in stone! I had no idea that this room was essentially a box in a box! Fascinating stuff, but more importantly, I am grateful that you are offering this to the interested masses. Keep going!!!
It is substantially the software, there are laptops with lots of memory through. It does take lots of memory, but memory doesn't take lots of power. The GPUs take lots of power. The top nvidia Jetson module has 64gb of memory and 275tflops of compute at 60 watts, for about $2k. Just need those nerds a workin.
The collapsed mud-brick superstructure of the black pyramid, (built by the dynastic middle kingdom), was possibly built over an older structure of limestone and granite!
Could that massive pit with the holes all the way up the wall be filled with sand or water and the supports were removed the higher or lower you want whatever object is in there thats being worked on?
Listening to episode number 40 something your talking about cherubim, maybe the cherubim were downsyndrome? Also if spiders have 6 eyes, do they see 7 dimensions?
Russ, rather than facing the camera, you should look off into the middle distance like Kyle does in the Snake Bros thumbnails. It adds an air of authority. Kyle's thumbnail photos have convinced me that he's practically a credentialed archeologist at this point.
Yeah probably, but they still have limitations for where, when and how much time they have. They are part of doing tours with many people coming bringing loads of dollars to Hawass and Egypt!
If you had listened to it you would have heard Russ apologize for the ads when someone in the chat told him there were a lot. UA-cam settings need adjusting.
one trip less to McD or KFC or per month and you would be able to afford YT premium and not get ANY ads on ANY channel. Guess you prefer fast food over no ads 🤷 Happy New Year 🎇
This is an entirely 'unSnake-Like' post. If you can't cope with a little difficulty, in order to gain knowledge and insight, then maybe deep thinking is not your forte. Please don't watch anymore, @udumspam6668, nobody will miss you.
Slight epiphany: why would aliens risk taking on 8 Billion+ pop with secrets of universe, if they could resurrect the inevitable ruins of apophis and the surviving ~50k-500mil? Seems like a more secure investment in resources. But is that Jesus? Happy new year?

Kyle - “That shaft is enormous!”
The only thing my heard of this whole vid. Walks by laughing 😂

A little bit of science and a lot of common sense. Love it! You guys rock. Or sandstone.
Keep up the good work guys, one day you'll all get the recognition that you deserve :)
Happy New Year fellas.
Big dishes for lots of locally produced food for lots of people 🙏🏽

Excellent work again guys thankyou. How did you get the permissions to scan ❤
The things they did with Geopolymers are amazing

The holes in the wall of that giant shaft with the giant box in the bottom were likely used to get the box down. Some type of advanced pulley system.
Happy new year everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

44:40 Yeah, and 44:42 😆❤ (no sh!t, and me neither too).
Zero mistakes!
Thanks for the little tune 🎄 🎉
Merry Christmas Snakes!

This plan is on the table. We are working on it.
Lol, funny stuff . I don't think they got your sarcasm.
Happy New Year boys. Best of wishes from Australia
Looks like cold fusion gentlemen. Some kind of gravity wave generator. They could transmute elements.

I suppose we can officially welcome back the half-beards!

Neato, how were guys able to get all the equipment in there without getting flagged?

1:28:32 why is sherlock holmes in a pyramid
The mudbrick pyramid, may have been encased with limestone or other materials, which were then broken up and quarried away for other building...
Do you even pyramid bro
Why would they have logs/beams over a precision cut shaft? It don’t make no sense 😂 45:38
8:13 ha
sode!
Snakes!
shoot/film it from an angle, then you dont have the reflection
did Zahi Hawass know you were doing this?
Of course! He's the director of the Egyptian Spy Force now
ofc, he the one they paid for access 🤠
Yeah probably, but they still have limitations for where, when and how much time they have. They are part of doing tours with many people coming bringing loads of dollars to Hawass and Egypt!
You don't use photogrammetry to measure a vase lol it won't be accurate at all
Might listen a bit more, he has explained why he was doing photogrammetry on an earlier episode.
You guys don't know how to measure stuff it's quite embarrassing and the European lad is even worth
so many commercials/ads, I am just not going to view your stuff anymore... Are you just broke and scamming for all the ads you can squeeze in?
If you had listened to it you would have heard Russ apologize for the ads when someone in the chat told him there were a lot. UA-cam settings need adjusting.

I don't eat trash from Ronald or Col. Sanders because that is toxic....
