I have been so busy the last few days making sure I am ready for Chico and I to weather this winter blast. It is a new ball game with my new puppy. He does not grow a winter coat and so I have to take measures to make sure he stays warm. I also have to make sure the pipes are ready and the water hose is disconnected and emptied out. The gas tank has to be filled and I have to make sure I have the specific food items in the house for my eating program. It is a lot when you are expecting ice sheets on the road, porch, steps, concrete drive, and, well, let's just say EVERYWHERE OUTSIDE. Today, I spent it getting belated Christmas cards sent out (I know!), picking up the last few things I needed and, yes, stopping at Jack In The Box to use the coupons! I got it all done and now we are set! The last thing I needed to do today was to get the herbs in the dehydrator and it working for me to preserve this years herb harvest. It was such a busy day!
