I just got back from staying in this hotel. I loved it!. I literally booked the hotel and watched your video and it was one of the reasons I stayed at the Renaissance Cancun Resort and Marina. I had the same kind of room a king bed with marina view and it was EXACTLY as pictured. One of the only hotel room where I felt the pictures were exactly what the room was depicted as. I enjoyed your information about the mall next door and ate the tacos you ate at Districto Gourmet. Thanks for the wonderful video. Hope you guys are still traveling!
We did have the whole thing to ourselves! It was actually still a pretty new hotel when we arrived so we were super lucky. The only thing was that we didn't get a full upgrade to the suite, but it was still a nice experience overall.
Wow! Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I'm so happy you found it helpful! Be sure to check out the rest of our Cancun videos as we know you will want to eat some nice tacos there
So good that resort looks so good and must say the night views outside are priceles :) we went to mexico moustly west coast ensenada and Cozumel ,Playa del Carmen we would realy love to explore CAncun if future :)
Thanks! The Cancun marina has its perks, but if you visit, we'd recommend staying at a resort along the coast line, at least you get direct beach access. We've been to Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, but missed Cozumel and West Coast Ensenada. Maybe you can give us pointers on what to see there when we visit next time :)
That's great! You will have so much fun! The Renaissance is perfect because there is a small outdoor mall connected to it! In addition you can book fun excursions from there and can go to Isla Mujeres! Let us know if you have anymore questions, we also share videos about places to eat too!
Hello I’m planning to go nov 23 how far Isit from Cancun town or the main Cancun centre or beach or Tulum attraction please get back to me 😢I hope you enjoyed your stay x
Hello there! Depending on where you are staying, it will vary in terms of time! The main Cancun area is a city center, mostly where locals are and most tourists stay in the Hotel Zone. There are buses that take you between both locations. It will be about 20-30 minutes. To get from Cancun to Tulum will take about 2 hours by car if you drive and maybe longer if you take a bus as they stop in Playa. What are some attractions you are trying to visit? Let us know so we can help you some more!
The manager from the hotel actually drove us to the Westin, so we got lucky with that.. But if you are planning to do those public buses along the strip in the Hotel Zone, the ticket cost about under 10 peso per ride and they are very convenient! If you have a small suitcase and bag pack like ours, the bus shouldn't be an issue. But it might not be possible with a larger suitcase, as the seats are quite narrow. Hope this helps!
Hey Jess, Thanks for your comment! This is not all inclusive. What extras are you asking about? They do have a gym and do have a spa like experience in there. In terms of breakfast, there was a free continental breakfast. If you wanted the full breakfast, it would cost like $10USD extra. There is also an amazing Marina next to it with tons of shopping, restaurants, and a great place to hang out.
I see here on booking etc that they seem to want to cater to solo travelers, which I will be. How far to the beach is this hotel. I think I saw on that site that it seemed to be quite far.... if that matters.
The hotel is on a Marina and connected to a mall. As for the beach, you will have to take about a 10-15 minutes drive to reach the nearest one. Based on our stay, I don't think they provided a shuttle to beach, so you will have to arrange transportation on your own.
Yes, you absolutely can! But the space was too narrow for our preference, as there was only a small chair and the semi transparent screens between the rooms by the balcony does not really any privacy.

How did you end up getting to your next hotel? I’m doing Cancun resort hop in November. Can you take luggage on the bus? Thanks!

@@exploreaswego it may have changed since you went, but the hotel does offer a shuttle to a private beach club.
@@chiberg9017 Wow! That's amazing! This is a huge upgrade for them and the information can be useful!
Can you sit outside on the balcony?

Extraño el pulpo a la parrilla del restaurante de ese hotel 😋.
Escuchamos que la comida era buena pero no tuvimos la oportunidad de probarla. ¿Cuando fuiste?
